As for D' Antoni, cant really blame him entirely. He was only a replacement due to a knee jerk reaction from Laker Management because of a terrible start in the regular season. He didn't have the luxury of a training camp to get his players acquainted to his system. Can't really do that while season has started. That's why he had to adjust. So yeah the full season AND a training camp will help them improve. Can't wait for the "new" Lakers next year. With a healthy Kobe to boot.

Lakers will enter next season practically with the same line up considering they are over the cap. Kobe however will be out til end of December. The only way they can add players is through the veteran's minimum or if any team would take the Lakers high priced but old vets. Because of being over the cap and the CBA, they are stripped of their mid level exception and bi-annual exception. They also can't acquire players in a sign and trade
