If the Warriors had the power to amnesty Biedrins(-$9M) + Landry opts out (-$4M) + Jack doesn't re-sign, they will still have around $61M in salaries, therefore no cap space.
The Warriors may have to choose between retaining Landry or Jack next season. Teams like the Pistons or the Jazz could be throwing Jack some serious money in the offseason.
IIRC the tax line is ~70M ..... assuming they can still waive the inept Biedrens (who was very promising prior to his current contract) and Landry tests the market and does opt out - it'll get them under the line and net them some space for a decent player ...... of course all of this is pointless, since they didn't choose Biedrens when they made their choice for amnesty.
I've always liked Jack ..... his mid-range game reminds me so much of Sam Cassell or Terrell Brandon from years ago. But there's a reason why he's had so many stops throughout his career.
He has this streakiness about him that a lot of established coaches are scared of ..... a noobish coach like Jackson might not see this yet.
If whoever calls the shots for GSW (West?) wants them to take the next steps to eliteness - they might consider bringing in someone more stable e.g. mull with the idea of converting a Redick to full-fledged PG ...... imagine the amount of outside shots they'd take with a Curry-Thompson-Redick backcourt.
