I hope bumalik sa dati 'yun field goal percentage ng Heat sa tres, noong kalaban nila Bulls parang bumaba, hirap sila maka shoot sa 3 point line. Plus Bosh should step-up. Hindi biro si Hibert, mukhang maganda nilalaro ni Hibbert this season compared last season.

Last year the Indiana gave the Miami a good battle, with Granger on the floor. now without Granger; Paul George is much better now, and all of their player stepped-up. Indiana could run, can play big, can shoot 3's, can play defense. Sila lang yung team na kaya upset miami, puro fresh legs.

If they cant shut down Lebron and Wade, then they still dont stand a chance. Tingnan natin ano magagawa nila Lance Stephenson and George Hill

Kudos to the Pacers! I watched the Pacers for the first time today in the playoffs (the only other time I watched them are the 2x they faced the Lakers this season). Paul George is as good as advertised and deserving of all star status. Hibbert's block on Melo was spectacular. And Stephenson was surprisingly good.

That said, I think Miami will win in 5-6 games. As the commentators said, they can't commit those same turnovers against Miami. And Pacers bench is very thin and largely unproductive - Augustin, Hansbrough, Green and Mahinmi don't really inspire confidence.

But hey, as my team has already gone fishing, any outcome will do. Feel free to surprise me (and the rest of the world), Pacers.

The Spurs Memphis series, sabi nung isang friend ko, is for basketball purists only.  Both teams tend to play deliberate ball.  Less highlight film reel.  In short, boring.  But hey, I would have watched the game had it been late in the morning or if it was close.  As I said, if the Spurs are leading very hard to play catch up.

I foresee low scoring games for this series.  I remember the Detroit Spurs Finals in 2005.  One of the lowest scoring finals average yata parang less than 80 pts a game hahaha.  But that was an awesome basketball clinic for defensive games.

Miami maybe a force in offense but their defensive prowess is, IMO, underrated.  Miami, in the regular season, was the 5th best defensive team in the league allowing opponents an average of 95 ppg.  Memphis was tops with 89.3 ppg allowed followed by Indiana with 90.7.  However, in the postseason, Miami became NUMERO UNO in defense with points allowed per game of 84.7.  So, as you can see, as the postseason progresses, Miami gets better in defense as well.  Incidentally, 4th, 5th and 6th best defensive team in the postseason belong to Indiana, Memphis and San Antonio.

Are we basing this "low scoring" analysis on this season?

While the Spurs are labeled as old, Pops adjusted their offense to be more high scoring than before. They were 4th in ppg and 11th in allowed ppg for opponents.

Di naman siguro low scoring. Sakto lang. The Grizzlies are #1 in allowed PPG... 27th in PPG. If they cant stop the Spurs' perimeter shooters, balewala yung D na yan. Deadly masiyado spurs sa 3pts

Yeah. :) It just meant na sila lang ang Fast Break Team sa offense. Their "D" is quite alright. Specially Cole has stepped up this time around guarding the opposing team's PGs etc.

And to perk things up a bit, the media strikes again - lebron-james-is-offended-by-frank-vogels-comments-about-the-heat[/size]]http://www.cbssports.com/nba/blog/eye-on-basketball/22270649/lebron-james-is-offended-by-frank-vogels-comments-about-the-heat

Maybe they can hire the scriptwriter of the Calvin Abueva - James Yap thingy.  That was fun.

There are fewer games na din kasi, with only 4 teams remaining. Parang ang laki pa ng gap between games.

For Spurs-Grizzlies, I'm rooting for the Grizz. But I think the Spurs will win. With the drama created by the 2 games they played against each other this season, Spurs-Heat would be nice to watch. Can't figure out who guards LBJ though.
