Hi sir. Tag team kami ng suking karpintero (he did cabinets & other wood works in our house). I bought all the materials. He did the wood cutting since i didnt have the right tools. We did the assembly together & im doing the finishing.

Costing: wood = 3.7k, carpenter labor = 2k, other materials = 2k & counting  ;D

Alright!

Lets hear this when the finishing is completed.  I have a t-amp with battery powered power supply. Lets it and see how it goes.

Congratulations on a nice and affordable build!

Guys, would love to but I live in the south (Sta.Rosa, Laguna) so lugging it around wouldn't be an easy thing to do plus it's not yet done, i think a few more weeks to finish this as I am just sneaking it in my free time. Thanks!

The guys behind those beautiful speakers are Paul & Robert Burchell. Frequently sharing their work sa Mark Audio section over at DIYaudio. Below is my favorite from them, they call it "Hurricane" baffles. The story behind the name is; they got the wood from an old elm tree brought down by a hurricane in Virginia and were able to salvage a chunk. Sick grain patterns, just love it.

@timber - brader, yakang yaka mo ganitong worksmanship.

@JoeyGS - 100% agree.

Seems mas maganda dynamics with lighter stands kasi, of course dapat walang added resonation.
