UE this season's host for some strange reason changed the schedule twice yesterday! Usually, there's a one week break between the 1st round and 2nd round to iron out the logistics. but they decided to have no break, release the 2nd round sked yesterday (which is supposed to be based on standings) then suddenly rumors were rife that on saturday instead of UST it would be DLSU. After a few hours, it then became a sunday game.

UE has not released the 2nd round sked after the changes in the games. I reserve judgement until i see the 2nd round sked fully but mukhang nangangamoy na one team *hosts* does not want to get booted out of the final four. hehe

Yes. DLSU-ADMU game will be Aug. 17 Sunday 4:00PM. Initial reports say it will be in Araneta BUT may be moved to MOA. Final announcements will be made today

wow UE cutting it close with this schedule thing (host nga ba ang nagma-map out ng sched or is the league office?).

medyo critical to especially for the teams playing this weekend (and the fans who plan to watch those games).

I see. Hmm.. tomorrow's schedule has UST facing Adamson, and UE facing UP. Interesting...

Arvin Tolentino is the most impressive rookie and is also the reason why Ateneo is on top of the standings after the 1st round.
I dont think any other rookies will come close to beat him for ROY.

Arvin Tolentino may be the most impressive rookie this season but he, definitely, is not the reason why Ateneo is on top of the standings. Obviously, it's Ravena.

Tolentino is a very good big man, though a little bit immature. He has the tendency to commit silly fouls whenever he gets frustrated. He is lazy on defense. And I don't see the reason why he has to ask for the ball at midcourt while the ball is being brought up. But, he still, definitely, is a big plus for Ateneo.

I've literally never seen this happen. Maybe if a full court press is being applied, then that's warranted, but I don't remember him doing that really.

Pero parang tamad nga siya gumalaw. Parang walang energy yung movements niya. Buti nalang efficient siya on offense.

Without this "lazy rookie", I doubt Ateneo will be on top of the standings in the 1st round even with the superb performance of King Eagle Ravena.

No one is denying that or downplaying his contribution to the team.

Fact of the matter is that when you watch him on the court, he moves slow and sluggish. Parang kailangan lumaklak ng Enervon

He's just a rookie so allow him some time to develop his body, game and of course attitude.
Who knows after a year or two he'll be the MVP of the UAAP.

Nice win by DLSU against Ateneo.
The injuries to some of their key players gave way for the Archers to fine tune their rookies and prepare them for tougher games ahead.
Its now a 3 way tie by Ateneo, DLSU and FEU on the top.

Ateneo beat UE again for the 2nd time this season.
Ravena bailed the Eagles out again with a high arcing trey.
He also had a dunk in this game, actually he's been dunking almost every game and could probably be the player this season with the most dunks.
Arvin Tolentino had limited minutes as Coach Bo preferred Gotladera to take on Mamie.

With already 5 losses to UE, I think it's safe to conclude the Final 4 Ateneo, DLSU, FEU and NU.

He's their stone wall of defense since Coach Bo opted to play small with Ravena, Newsome, Pessumal and Elorde.

why was Gotladera not used during his stay with DLSU? he's hardworking and has decent moves.
