I have a nvidia shield tv which is capable of playing 4k videos. I don't have a 4k tv yet but I was curious if I would be able play 4k on my 1080p tv. So I downloaded a Elysium 4k sample from here
http://4ksamples.com/elysium-2013-2160p-1-minute-sample-footage/ I was able to play the video just fine but i just want to ask, what am I seeing on my 1080p tv? A "slightly improved 1080p" or basically the same as a 1080p untouched/remux ? Thanks
