lets wait sa result..so lahat ng statement na yun pawang kasinungalingan? yung 50yrs palang yari na sila. tapos sa TV plus at sa number ng hindi regular na empleyado.. those are very obvious. ano masasabi mo dun? para sayo muna lets not talk about kung sino mas credible dito.

Let's wait sa result pero sa 50 years yari na sila?  Akala ko ba let's wait sa result? Pero those are very obvious kahit wala pang result?  Eto yun section ng Constitution involved....
Quote
Section 11. No franchise, certificate, or any other form of authorization for the operation of a public utility shall be granted except to citizens of the Philippines or to corporations or associations organized under the laws of the Philippines, at least sixty per centum of whose capital is owned by such citizens; nor shall such franchise, certificate, or authorization be exclusive in character or for a longer period than fifty years. Neither shall any such franchise or right be granted except under the condition that it shall be subject to amendment, alteration, or repeal by the Congress when the common good so requires. The State shall encourage equity participation in public utilities by the general public. The participation of foreign investors in the governing body of any public utility enterprise shall be limited to their proportionate share in its capital, and all the executive and managing officers of such corporation or association must be citizens of the Philippines.

Hindi ba the 50 years refers to the duration of a franchise?  It can't be more that 50 years ang franchise duration.  Ang sinasabi ni Marcoleta is the totality of the number of years in operation ng ABS-CBN including renewal.

But if we compare it to GMA 7.....
Quote
GMA Network (company)
GMA Network Center in Diliman, Quezon City, the headquarters of GMA Network.
Founded   June 14, 1950

So GMA at the time of renewal (2017?) was already 67 years old..also more than 50 years.  So if what Marcoleta saying is true, dapat hindi na rin narenew ang GMA 7?

Ikaw naman ano masasabi mo dun given the info above?

i agree with you. dapat hindi narin ma renew ang GMA7..  kung hindi including renewal hindi sila aabot sa 50yrs?

paano naman ang 2000+ regular employees lang? is it legal? yung 2018 -tax is it true?
yung TVplus multi channel + pay per view sa KBO? is it legal?

One indication nga is if meron sinampang kaso ang BIR, DOLE, SEC & NTC.  Pero sabi nila under oath wala daw nilabag ang ABS-CBN.  Eto na nga ang mga regulatory bodies na mismo nagsasabi and testifying.

Pero if the above info regarding the 50 year rule already casts doubt on Marcoleta's allegations, how can the other accusations suddenly be "obvious" and "yari na"?

Di ba sabi ko sa 50 year rule pa lang in comparison to GMA, may doubt na sa veracity ng accusation?  Pero by saying obvious and yari na ABS-CBN, totoo na para sayo yun mga paratang ni Marcoleta?

I am not in favor of the admin manipulating and weapnizing the law to suit their trivial and petty fetishes..  Why?  You want ABS-CBN off the air any means necessary?

it looks real to me.kaya nga everytime my mga napapanood o nababasa ako pinopost ko dito para maliwanagan ako.

pwede ba ko makahingi ng link na nag take under oath yung mga kinauukulan bilang patunay na walang nilabag na batas ang ABiaSCBN?

P14.398 billion from 2016 to 2019 according to rappler and tax na naibayad ng ABS.. saan kinuha ni marco ang data nya? at meron pa nga negative (2018).

Bale 3.5B taxes yearly average. Compared sa 1B sa GMA 7. I think something's not right.

Why would you say it's not right?  Remember taxes are based on taxable net income.  Even if a company is much bigger compared to another, if expenses are also much bigger then taxable net income is also lower and thus taxes are likewise lesser.

if i read the house right, the prevailing sentiment is to grant the franchise, same with the senate, so it will all boil down to digong burat if he signs the bill into law...

they would rather do it by the SC to insulate digong burat from embarassing himself, sabagay kapa muks naman sya..

Big difference in taxes paid, considering same line of business. That is why something is not right. Either not apple to apple comparison or ABS is just very good in business.

Yes.  x3 of taxable net income between same line of business(Channel 2 and 7) is not right. Either ABS income is for conglomerate or they are just good in business if that is the case.

Sala sa init, sala sa lamig.  Pag malaki ang binayaran, something is wrong, pag mas maliit ang binayaran, something is wrong pa rin.  Kailangan talaga pareho lang?   Ang galing ng logic!

What do you mean?  ABS-CBN earning more is not hard to accept.  It means they earn more revenues . I thought you meant ABS-CBN should pay more as accused by Marcoleta.  But if your assertion is ABS-CBN should be paying as much as GMA, what is your basis?

Like I said it's not hard to fathom ABS-CBN generates more revenues as they not only have the TV station to earn from. There's also Skycable, TFC, Star Cinema, etc.  I'm not sure GMA gets revenues from other sources aside from the tv station.
