The Good: Friends: The One With All 10 Seasons R3 is available NOW in the Philippines, Php 7950.

The Bad: It was supposed to come out in March, so it's almost a 3 month delay

& The Ugly: Man, that is the worst "boxed set" I've ever seen. They apparently took all ten boxes (the thick "new" versions for all of them, not the old slim Digipaks), then placed them in one HUGE printed box the size of a small crate! It's the bulkiest DVD set I've ever seen. Absolutely not for those with storage space issues.

I have phone cam pictures, but will post when I get back from work.

maybe they have lots of individual seasons that are still unsold. The ugly packaging might just ruin it for me. Wait ko na lang if they put it on sale, baka... but not at it's present 7950 price. It is already cheap (795 per season) but hirap i-cash out in one transaction...

I agree with techdude, PhP 795 per season is already cheap. But I'll also just await for it to be put on sale.

The mini-crate is not that bad looking. I was expecting worse. But still too much of a space hog considering how small the repackaged R1 is. Not being a big 'Friends' fan, I'll skip this Unless it's put on sale at 50% off, then the irrational collector in me just might buy it.

It's not really ugly, just way too huge to fit on any well-constructed DVD shelf/cabinet:

And look how nicely the R1 would fit on your DVD shelf/cabinet:

Bring a trolley if you intend to buy the R3... it's quite hard to carry around.

Saw one at SM Makati Astroplus. Didn't bother asking the price.. I knew it was expensive.. Packaging pa lang..

I hope buying it and lugging it around the mall doesn't cause you prolonged lower back pain.

No special inclusions in the box, like a booklet or something?

For those who haven't bought this and have a way to avoid customs duties here, the R1 version of this set in the nice slim case is currently on sale at Amazon for only $159.99.

So that's about the same price as the R3, and this one will fit on any conventional DVD shelf, too.

Sorry for the late reply Boss Chino, it is made of hard cardboard but very sturdy. Nope, haven't viewed it at all, not my forte, my wife did watched it and she was done in a week.

Is it good enough to purchase? I would definitely say yes, especially if you love FRIENDS, buying it would cost less than buying it individually, and it also eats a lot of space in your room.

Pwede gawin side table or footrest.

So am I correct in assuming that the Seasons 1-3 and 6 of this set contain the Broadcast versions of the show and not the extended versions?
