Sir,

Good Morning. Yes there are ways to check ... first is to check it physically using your eyes and hands kung may punit sa cone, edge/surround, spider; putol sa pigtail or sira sa terminal. You can also push the cone evenly kung gumagalaw pa or may sayad. Second, to check the voice coil if its ok pa ... Use an electronic tester (analog or digital) set the ampere to the impedance of your speaker then test it. If there is a reading (usually lower than the impedance rating of your speaker but definitely not way much higher) then your speaker is Ok and doesn't need to be repaired.

Otherwise ... you might need our service.

Ask ko lang sana unit sino trusted here in PDVD braders who make the enclosure para i can transfer them to a new housing?

Good Morning. Glad na kumakanta na ulit ng maganda SB-5 mo

Hindi pa po ako nakakapag pagawa ng enclosure kaya wala pa po akong experience dyan. May mga brods dito sa PDVD na nababasa ko na magaling na gumawa ng enclosure try mo po sila diy_master, marco_pilyo at si eestrera (earl). Enclosure na lang ang kulang at good as new na yang SB-5 mo sir.

Best of luck sa restoration ng speakers mo.

ask ko lang po gumagawa ba tayo ng subwoofer ng BOSE nakaangat na kase yung wood nya and meron na syang singaw din siguro due na din dun sa nakaopen na side ng subwoofer mismo. Paadvise naman sir how much aabutin pag pinagawa sa inyo. Nakaopen na mismo yung subwoofer nya.. salamat!

i have b & w 605 s2 where its left woofer channel which is powered plays on and off the hi and mid is ok. the tech that i commissioned to check it diagnosed that the transformer is defective that's why it plays on and off. he said that i have to look for a good tech to rewind the transformer because it is torroidal. can you help me?

Sir delinsk,

We don't rewind torroidal transformer. I suggest that you buy a new torroidal transformer with same specs or fabricate a laminated/e-core type transformer with specs similar to the torroidal transformer.

The wharfedale tweeter enlclosed in a white box? It's already repaired, voice coil rewinded. Sorry about the late reply, having problem with the phone or network, not receiving sms lately.

pa quote nman po ako ng re-cone at possible rewind ng 8" sub ng yamaha.
na daga po kasi.as per visual check butas ang cone malapit sa cap.buo pa naman ang spider kaso me sayad na ang winding.maraming dinala na abubot sa loob ang daga kaya pati sa looban ng winding napasukan siguro.
inconsistent na rin ang binibigay na result ng resistance nya sa DMM.supposedly 6 ohms ang sub.na check ko na rin output ng plate amp.buo pa nman.
ganito po yung unit;Yamaha YST-SW215

nag text na rin po ako sa cp nyo.

i have jbl creature 2 speakers, the satellite speakers needs replacement for the foam, i was cleaning it and it's already falling apart, plus the silver disc of one satellite speaker was punctured. can this be repaired?

hindi ko actually nakikita pa kung anong parts ang affected pero hinala ko yung enclosure...

anong pwedeng gawin? dispose na lang? o pwede pa maremedyuhan?

Good Morning. Yes it can be repaired. Meron po kaming foam na pinapalit not like the original but surely it works. Php 250 per satellite for foam edge replacement.

Good Morning. Pwede pa naman pong remedyuhan. Kung inanay ang eclosure pero buo pa ang crossover, speakers, terminal, port, cloth cover pwede kang magpagawa ng bagong enclosure na gayang gaya ang mga sukat (taas, haba, lapad) at mga butas sa karpintero mo. I suggest that you use a more solid wood than MDF. Hope this helps.

hi benedict, pauwi ako sa dec.1 up to 4...how many days ang voice coil rewinding?(tama ba ang term ko?), tumukod kasi yung driver ng ALR(4ohms) & denon(6ohms) speakers ko....nasunog yata dahil sa sira kong amp...

ang alam ko kasi lifetime warranty ang euros 8 pero hindi ko maalala kung yung drivers lang o buong speaker... at hindi ko alam kung covered ang anay damage hehe

Good Morning. Kung sayad lang po ang problema re-centering lang po ang solusyon dun (hindi na kailangan irewind ang voice coil kung hindi naman sira). Hindi po kami nag rerepair ng speaker grills.

sir gumagawa po ba kayo ng audiophile grade dividng network?
