Ehe, sorry guys, its not for sale. This was a private project done by 12 pinoydvd members last Nov. to December 2005. You can find the posts at the General DVD discussion on "Custom Made Demo Disks" but it all started at the "Best DVD to test your surrounds" thread.

Its exclusively for the 12 contributing members only and each disk is personally labeled (with the name of the owner) to prevent any copying.

Bachwitz: hehe, its ok, you can get a person who knows video editting and do a project like this. Its not illegal as long as you use it for home purposes and dont sell it for profit (thats why its not for sale).

Haha! Eto na lang, These are worth drooling for:

My dream HT:

Dont get me wrong, I am actually very happy with my setup now ( I slept there last night, wala si missis eh) but I just want a bigger space for my HT (than my current 12 sqm. room.) And this post is for my dream HT when I save enough for a bigger house.   Libre mangarap  :)

Di nga dumating mga models so I had to be the one to do the job, lol...joke  ;D ;D ;D

Actually, the event was done artistically and it was not "malaswa" at all. The food (and saki!) was very good though, specially the presentation of the sushi tray  ;D.

It was the finale celebration of a couple of guys who turned 50 yrs old, I was just lucky some backed out & I got invited.

Meron sa dream HT mo, I inquired regarding the fiber optic lighting for my project and it cost so much. Atras agad yung client ko.

levi are you talking about the effects on the ceiling from the first photo? I saw a lighting shop along araneta ave who is selling the fiber optic lighting and i think its from taiwan thats why its not really that expensive, yung installation ang matrabaho he he he. My friend's house in davao has the same effect on their ht room ceiling although not as many compared from the photo.

Sure, may budget for the sushi pero no budget for the model...si jeckjeck na lang ihiga natin.  ;D

My contractor friend also built a house with a HT room with those lights. They are expensive indeed. The HT room alone cost over a million already.

There are some new products I saw "Landlite" brand I think, that uses 6 LEDs & one transformer/ module. It is probably more crude than the expensive one you mentioned but its quite affordable. I was looking at it during the finishing stages of our renovation but I thought it would be overkill & exagerated na if I went for it.

Thanks Ronjet! No SARS so far. Sabi nila Jetok & New Age wala na raw kailangan i-upgrade so I believe them, mga idol ko yan eh.  :)

New pics? Hmmm, may bagong addition coming for our bedroom...but I am "maarte" as ricky said in another post  ;D. So I will renovate the area a bit before I post it.  :)

Yep, aliw sa kakapanood sa newly arrived Hitachi 32" LCD TV w/ HDMI in our bedroom! We watched Forrest Gump here yesterday. Sayang, tunog lata sa war scene  ;D. But its got a subwoofer out option, hmmmm ...

Only spare DVD player was an old non-progressive scan Pioneer DVD player, but the image was already great! no scan lines at all.

Now I can watch DVD special features guilt free (rather than sa PJ w/c has limited lamp life).

Also for cable TV, (maybe) a PC & internet,  watching P**ted DVDs and BARNEY! My son can now stop watching barney and his Bday vids on the PJ, it cost me some 10-20 hrs on my PJ's lamp life. My lamp usage is now 100 hrs w/ just a month of use! lol.

I will be wall mounting it soon and do some "arte" before I post d pics here. I plan to connect my spare Kenwood THX amp and Mission 72 bookshelf speakers to its "audio out".

I agree with you ricky, but I dont want to spend anymore, na gui-guilty na ako  ;D. haha

All I used were spare stuff I found at home like the DVD player, the amp, the bookshelf, interconnects and even the spare layers of the Crescendus glass AV rack from the HT room. But I had to put new speaker stands though.

When I installed them all, you are right, medyo sumikip room namin. I had those small satellite speakers in mind to minimize these bulky speakers, but heck saka na, pag may budget again.  :)

Di naman sir!  :)
1.)I definitely cant & wont replace the LCD TV (for a completely new setup)
2.) I cant make a separate thread kasi sir Levi (mod) said that "only one thread per member"  ;). But as usual,  I will post a few pictures in this thread when I get the setup finalized.

Jackryan anung months? im sure days, max na yung weeks at my complete bedroom-ht set-up na yan ;D ;D ;D

3.) cost for my wishlist for the bedroom:
a.) Neuneo or Toshiba HDMI dvd player: 11-14k
      b.) JBL scs 200.5 5.1 satellite system 17k
      c.) any 2nd hand 5.1 receiver (black) 10k
d.) PC with modem, wireless keyboard & mouse, good graphics card & dvd writer (20k)
4.) Thats a lot for my wallet, so maybe not in a few months time... :)
5.) If only Matzter had a wallet like Jackryan's, di na kailangan ng months  ;D

All I used were spare stuff I found at home like the DVD player, the amp, the bookshelf, interconnects and even the spare layers of the Crescendus glass AV rack from the HT room. But I had to put new speaker stands though.

I connected the system to my spare BOSE passive sub to add some bass. The bass now sounds better but no slam. Tunog lata kasi pag yung LCD speakers lang.

Ricky: Di akin yun bro. I just borrowed that one to make a video presentation for my son's 1st bday.  :)

But I brought my office PC to my bedroom & observed that you can watch closer when watching through PC (VGA cable) on the LCD TV, less pixelation and grains as compared to playing it on a DVD player. But its very inconvenient cuz no remote (pwede with wireless keyboard & mouse) and you have to shut off the PC & wait...unlike dvd player, pag off, off kaagad.

Thanks bro  :). just PM me when you have questions to ask regarding your new setup. I am also thankful to you for coming here with your Sony HDMI player and helping me observe the differences between component and HDMI connections. I learned a lot that day. I also didnt need to crave to buy a new dvd player for my room anymore (what a relief).

Conclusion of Pchin & me after our session: just wait for the HD/BR DVD players to come out.  :)
