Galing ako kahapon sa AstroPlus Megamall. Sabi mga VCD lang daw ang sale nila? Wag naman sana.

Nagsale na daw kc sa Podium kaya malamang di daw magclick pag isinama ang dvd. Sana di reliable ang nakausap ko.

Depends on title. If the movie runs over two hours, picture quality may suffer. Sound still the same because bitrate is stable (dts: 768kbps, dolby digital: 448kbps or 384kbps). You will notice this when you use larger display. Kung ang gamit mo naman ordinary tv lang...ok lang sayo mga dvd5 kc di gaanong halata.

Bought Robots at Astro Glorietta and I asked about the Astro sale in Ortigas this week. The saleslady said meron daw, including Podium.

Sana nga wag naman. But if you think about it, both Astroplus in Megamall and Podium are owned by Mr. Astro. So if Astroplus had a sale sa Podium, it might make people shy away from their mega branch. Kaya nga Megasale...para naman kumita ang Mega branch mo.

On the other hand naman...it would not make any sense to have only vcds on sale like what was mentioned in the thread.

Robinson's Galleria is also holding a sale this weekend... does anyone know kung malaki rin discounts at the Astro branch there?

I'm a bit apprehensive to go to Mega for the sale because traffic there gets pretty bad pag-sale plus masikip yung dvd section nila doon...

Last time, nang may 3day sale ang mega at kasama daw ang astro, nag-expect din ako na kasama and dvd pero di pala kasama. VCD lang. Di ko matandaan kung anong buwan un. Basta 3-day sale din yun. May mga nag-post pa nga d2 sa forum na magkakaroon daw kaya maaga ako pumunta on the first day. Kaso umuwi ako luhaan. Ewan ko kung natatandaan ni aszamora kung kelan yun, kc tinext ko sya abt dun. Sana meron para di masayang ang oras at pagod din yun syempre. Ang aga aga pa naman tapos masisira ang araw. Mahirap din makipagsugal kc nalalayuan ako.

...but unfortunately Astro-Galleria is a little small and their DVD selections are pretty limited compared to Megamall and Podium.

Oh well, it's their loss. Money intended for DVDs will just go to clothes and other stuff which is marked down up to 80% off according to ads. So if I were Astro, I'd join the sale.

Just came from Astro Mega. Hindi daw kasama DVD sa sale accdg sa saleslady. Ang instructions lang sa kanila is for VCDs. And they were busy tagging the VCDs with marked down prices. Yung mga tables na nasa gitna were predominantly VCDs. There were only two small sections for DVDs. Kaya nagkalat mga VCDs. Parang 80% ng store puros VCDs ang benta.

Disappointing!!!!
