That's what I planned to do at first. Then i finished viewing the movie the same night, and thought, I will not probably be opening this disc for sometime, so I left it as it is. And the cardboard itself is perhaps too thin to be a good slipcase.

My photobook is still intact. If it eventually fell off, then it would then be freebie postcards instead of book.

Just that resell value will decrease greatly.

Hmmm...I dunno the diffrence, if you like packaging this is fine but photo book is kinda not sturfy (if you get this, be careful guys), but if your into special features, hmm...

I have a feeling the local one is better (NOTE: I haven't seen R1). But no mention of the picture book in any of the reviews on Amazon...

Except for the amaray that Magna is using and the languages for audio and subtitles, I think everything is much alike. Personally, I got this one, as I'm not a fan of the film cut on the Korean SE, will wait for specs for the Japanese release. By the way, do they even check if the film cut is something, you know, something, and not some dark piece of film?

I am freakin' out here!!! When I got the dvd for inspection for a cataloging thing I do, I took it out of its pink box at there was the worst thing I have ever seen!!!!!!!

It seems like majority have wrinkled platic. Or is it just a select few? Now Im a bit hesitant in getting this release...

may shrinkwrap ba ang keepcase. i did some experiment and the shrinkwraping process (particularly heat and pressure) usually wrinkles the plastic.

i predict that this would go on sale sooner than we think.

sir hemi, would you prefer the Premium Edition or the more expensive Memoire Box of the japan release? i dont know the diff of the two, except that the memoire box has 3 discs

I don't think so. The Wrinkled plastic is hidden inside the cardboard box, you won't know the wrinkled plastic on case until you bought it home. It had another shrink wrap on the box, so no way to check it.

On the contrary, I think this might go on sale later, because it is one of those titles where Magnavision goes an extra mile (with the cardboard case and photobook) and not like (their) other releases where they just slap an 'imported DVD' sticker and put it out...

i bet the japanese LE would still be available till december. this title is not picking up news even in international forums.

im even getting hesitations buying any of the release at all.
