Sir, press the setup button, then select speaker, then select equalizer. You can then deactivate audysey

Sometimes Audyssey doesn't get things right and you have to tweak the settings to your preference. I always add to the center and sub after Audyssey sets it. I also use the 80hz THX setting when watching movies.

audyssey measures based on acoustic property of the room. The resulting data is based on REFERENCE setting which is pegged at 0 db listening level, at least the way I understood it. At 0 db, the result of the clabiration would be better felt but id otn think people most people listen at Reference level. Having said so, people would tend to make adjustment on the result after audyssey, thus it becomes PREFERNCE setting.

608
708
808
1008
3008
5008

yup TX-NR5008 highest model ng 3D AVR ng Onkyo pero ang nakikita ko sa mga shop at naririnig ko dito sa Thread TX-SR608 lang na available. I've been eyeing NR1008 or NR3008 pero not sure if available nga sa atin. Maybe as you've said by order, queston is how much kaya aabutin?

1008 maybe around 75 to 80k

the 5008, definitely more than 150K.

Need help po uli, I watch movies thru my htpc tapos hdmi(audio&video) to avr.  Bakit po PCM ang nadedetect ng avr kahit na DD or DTS yung movie?

You can't. PS3 is not an IR device.

you may want to check the manual of your 608, it comes with a list of equipment that can be controlled by the 608 remote control. if it doesnt come with a list, get back to your supplier and ask for it. if the equipment your not using is not included in the list, it can not be controlled by your 608 remote control.

hmmm... you can try it. the poster did say that the pass through will work on ALL inputs. and his wii did work on standby.

and upon checking, i think it might work for component cable input and not that regular single rca video input.

haven't tried the component cable connection, naka wall mount kc un tv..matigas at maiksi masyado yon cable.
hopefully someone here knows or can verify if this really works either composite or component conexion.

thanks

I connected the DVD player using the Coaxial cable to my 608 but what happened was the zone 2 speakers did not work pero nung kinabit ko yung red and white plug (ano ba tawag dun? RCA ba?) gumana yung zone 2. Normal ba iyon? I would like to use coaxial for its supposedly digital and improved sound for both the main room and zone 2 room.
