I have a similar sized room (3 x 4.2m) & I would not recommend that you get those 2 woofer floorstanders for a room of this size. They can get boomy at times specially if your room is not treated acoustically.
150k would get you a decent mid level HT (5 speakers, sub & good AVR). I would suggest that
since you have the budget, go straight for the mid level gears and skip the entry levels.
I could modestly refer you to my setup in the HT gallery, w/ Mission M5's, HK 630 & Velo sub will cost you around that figure. The Missions are excellent in both HT & audio, great highs and clear mids that really suit
my listening & aesthetic taste. I am very happy with them & modesty aside, me & a fellow pdvd member w/ M5's have on more than 1 occassion, w
wed friends owning more expensive speakers (2x up) with these wonderful value for money speakers. In fact, when I was auditioning them, a customer beside me who was about to buy another brand, changed his mind to the M5's after hearing them.
I thought they were out of stock but I just learned that there are still a few left, you just have to look for them. Give them a listen.
You could also try Monitor Audio RS series, B&W 600 series. Also try the Mid level Wharfe Evolution series, they are pretty impressive and also have the same low price locally for a mid end model.
For Subs try M&K's as well.
Audition them all, we all have different tastes so what is good for one might not be the case for another.
