Honestly, nagulat ako kay Tirso. Ang galing sumayaw! Ang lambot ng katawan! Parang MJ talaga!

My personal conclusion: The current crop of media players have nearly equal pq. Their main differences will be in their menu, boot-up speed, stability, navigation, etc. Based on this, the 1st gen WDTV (which won the blind test) actually sucks, particularly for navigation but insofar as pq is concerned, I think that all media players are virtually equal in quality.

I agree. Having gone through several of the players myself I could hardly see any PQ difference among the players and this blind test confirmed my observations. Even if we were able to include the A200 and the WDTV Live (instead of the gen 1 WD TV), our conclusions will most likely be the same. To think this was done with a high end 1080p projector and a 133 inch screen. Lalo pang mahirap to see any difference on a 50 inch LCD/plasma and lower.

In other words, other factors, the player's specific features and own's own needs--including HD Audio capabilities--will determine which NMT to get.

Sayang si nasama ang CinemaTube sa blind test as this is one of the NMT's I am considering to get.

i can attest to this, although when i came everything was set up already, getting to what we all saw was far from being simple, i have seen how sir mark and kagawad carefully programmed the sequence, made maybe thousands of pindots in the remote controls just to get the sequence right, just getting the right remote control in time is a tough act considering there were a lot on top of the table and there was a bit of frustrations when the Egreat and med8ter respond to the same remote control promting sir mark to work on the connections again.

the EB always become enjoyable not only because you get to meet your buddies again but you get to appreciate the passion sir mark and kagawad ayns have everytime they prepare for one

and oh by the way to those who went home early na miss nyo yung batuhan ng alaskahan nila sir mark at kagawad ayns talagang sasakit tyan nyo kakatawa para akong nanood ng dolphy at panchito.... sa saya t tawa ha hindi sa itsura

Based on the results of the blind test, I'm almost sure the PQ of this will also be very similar to the ones tested--as in you will have a hard time seeing a difference. Especially since it has a similar realtek to the xtreamer and mede8er.

Ang tanong na lang is if its feature set, price, user interface, support, etc. will meet your personal needs, wants and criteria.
