Some additional observations about these speakers:
The build and finish of the speakers reminds me of high-end Italian furniture or a luxury car ala BMW. The design, the piano finish and even the binding posts are all high-end. In fact, I could say that the performance of the Focal Electras as compared to the PSB Stratus Goldi is like a BMW vs. a Camry. Ibang level.
The floorstanders weigh 115 pounds each - mabigat talaga. The feet are strongly built and have rubber soles so they are very stable.
Even the bookshelves are surprisingly heavy and pretty large. They are 30 pounds each, while my current PSB bookshelves are half that. I've listened only a bit to the bookshelves, just to test them, because I still need to build the brackets to mount them as the High Speakers. Designing the brackets will be a challenge.
The center weighs "only" 42 pounds and looks surprisingly small but it produces a big sound and is perfectly matched to the fronts.
After we carried the SVS Ultras, we moved the SVS PB12-NSD subs. Parang napakagaan ng PB12.
