You might have to stretch your budget for a bit, say 45-50K for your receiver and 5.1 speaker set-up. Even if you go A-audio, 20K might not be enough to cover it if includes the sub. HK160 is a good amp to pair it with and it sells at 25.5K from avshop in this forum. This is what I'm using to drive my 5.1 Proac clone set-up. Cheers!

What if I stretch my budget to 25k for the speakers alone?  Would it be enough to get me a sub as well?  And is the HK 160 better then the Onkyo 580 (sells for 21k)?  I'm rooting for the latter since it may be a bit cheaper.  Thanks!

Better send a note to diy_master himself so you can get an idea if your budget fits. Who knows, baka generous mood siya ngayon at bigyan ka ng malaking discount.

As for the receiver, audition first before you decide para hindi ka magsisi. It took me 2 months to decide which AVR to buy and only after a series of auditions with different suppliers and set-ups.

bro ano pinagkaiba ng sound ng coax at tab fs?

pinagkaiba ng coax 8 inch tsaka ng tablette 6.5?, much cleaner ang tunog ng 8 inch coax, mas deeper ang bass, tsaka mas mataas ang sensitivity, i use it for audio, while the tablette for my HT

hmm so for flexibility mas ok pala ang coax series ng a-audio, kasi diba if its good for audio its great for ht

Not necessary for me sir. Ako kasi i prefer my HT speakers bright and may unting tinis. Sa audio, masgusto ko ang laid back. Pero shemps to each his own.

Yep. Agree. Thanks. Ang hirap lalo maliit ang sala namin to have a diff set for HT fronts and hifi. Pero like you said, ganun talaga.

Right now 1 unit palang available, planning to have 3 unit for demo, 2 units for home audition and 1 unit dito sa place ko, pero medyo mabagal wood works ko ngayon medyo nangangapa pa tao ko sa bagong machine.

30 pairs lang ito dahil pinapaubos ko lang yung woofer na PSB.

Listened to it only 2x kasi a close friend of mine just died yesterday. 

haven't tried it sa HT kasi di naman ako particular masyado on how my HT should sound. But for hifi, thumbs up ito. Very detailed compared to the BS clones. Not as musical sa clones pero very close. Iba ang flavor ng mids nya. A bit less sweet compared to clones pero may presence. Easy to drive din kasi 3.75w lang ang amp ko. Hindi boomy ang sub freq nya. Not too tight din.

Pero will listen to it again later tonight or will lend it to Master guru Stagea for testing & evaluation naman nya sa S/S system nya. 

Overall, maski na break-in period pa lang, winner ito.  Malaki ang potential after break-in.

sir i have a cambridge 650a and 650 c and im planning on buying the MS mezzo2 bagay kasi sila.. would you recommend this speaker(psb woofer) compare to the mezzo hehe..  never auditioned diymaster's speakers yet so id like to have feedback from people here.. thanks.

sir i have a cambridge 650a and 650 c and im planning on buying the MS mezzo2 bagay kasi sila.. would you recommend this speaker(psb woofer) compare to the mezzo hehe..  never auditioned diymaster's speakers yet so id like to have feedback from people here.. thanks.
