Thats the reason I ordered the Futureshop edition. Can't stomach foreign text on an Western Movie, a Chinese title on a Chinese movie is good (in fact it's preferable) but for Clash Of The Titans I want Clash Of The Titans and not Kampf Der Titanen. That's just wrong.

Well, I actually ended up preordering both (FS and German).. but I know I need to drop one before the release date.  It's not that good a movie to double dip on.   Anyway, I have about a month or so to decide.

Got text from my friend who works at Philpost in Central Cebu, I have a Steelbook package awaiting me. Its a toss up between Battlestar Galactica: The Plan, Minority Report (replacement) or Avatar (Chinese Iron Pack). Personally I'm hoping for Avatar.

My Chinese friend has offered to get me the Chinese Iron Pack of INDEPENDENCE DAY (or even NDPEPENDENCE DAY)

Very nice cover IMO.  Not sure yet whether it'll be G1 or G2 sized.  I'll have to pass though. I am content with my G1 BB Hurt Locker.   Can't afford to double dip.

Tnx Ann, yes they are really gorgeous....wish I'd buy more but I'm afraid my first SB purchase could be my last kc they are too expensive. Will see...I might fall for some really attractive SB again in the near future.

I agree with you about the Kick Ass steelbook, I too was actually hoping for that cover (the one on the DVD).  Why is it that the DVD has a better cover than the blu-ray???  Oh and also, I might be getting the play.com exclusive with interchangeable artcards instead:



It looks better than the steelbook, IMO, and I could definitely use HitGirl on the front cover.  

My problem is... how to get it from play.    :'(

I know play.com doesn't ship outside Europe.  I don't know if they accept payments thru locally issued credit cards.

My Astro Boy IronPack arrived today from Gouduo.  It was well-packed and came with a protective sleeve so I am really happy with this purchase.  It took 10 days to get here from China via their standard shipping.    I will definitely use them again.

Btw, this release does not have English audio or subs.  I'm still waiting for my Astro Boy U.S. BD so I can replace the disc with an English one.

It's really frustrating that most of the new UK steel releases are lacking inside artwork (Minority Report, Battlestar, Wolfman).  This is supposed to be a collector's item and I think they are shortchanging us with these blank insides.

Eh?  Your gladiator didn't have inside art?  The UK Gladiator steel isn't dull.    Avatar has inside art too.  It seems that it's the newer (UK) releases that don't.

Here is how Blu-Devil does it (click on the link below)   

Changing the frames is very simple. The front and back panels come off easily. You need boiling soapy water to loosen the spine tho. Mine arrived with no torn plastic or rubbed paint. Luckily. Still waiting for Chinese Iron Pack tho. My Saving Private Ryan shipped yesterday as well.
BTW here is a photo tutorial I did for replacing Steelbook frames. Maybe it will convince you to try sometime. Maybe on a Jumbo.
