Ang ganda ng mga review nitong pj! I've also noticed that it has a lot of calibration controls. Looks like a great choice!
By the way, i also saw a fairly priced video calibration (spyder 3) over at B&H...is that even worth getting? What's your opinion? I'm not sure if you are familiar with it. Spyder 3 is supposed to be a big improvement over Spyder 2 though I'm really not sure how good it is and you still have to buy software. Why don't you also look at www.curtpalme.com. They have a couple of very reasonably priced packages there. Take a look at the X-Rite EyeOne Display2 Pro with Chromapure.

I met this guy who is selling this screen at hometheater shack http://www.hometheatershack.com/...and since he is from the East Coast and I happen to be here now...well, yun nabitbit ng di oras. hehehe. I don't know if we can get this locally which is why i just decided to try it. He said that he literally compared the fabric being used by SMX and this one and they match. We'll see... Lucky for me lang coz his home theater project did not push thru...ended up converting the proposed ht room into an office.Anyway, I will end up shipping it by 'boat'...malalaman natin kung puede nga around January pa.

Yep...try-try lang bro...if it works then fine, if not, o well...matagal ko na kasi gustong mag try ng ganung set-up..with the speakers behind the screen.
Alvin, I've done some more research and it looks like the Spyder3 is really not recommended. The EyeOne is a much better option.
Yep ok yan less clutter sa harap walang speakers na kita . . . in my case naman, nawalan ng silbi yung acoustic wall treatment sa front kasi natakpan na ng fixed screen. Ok sana kung perforated or ganyang material lusot pa din ang sound mag-benefit din mga rear-ported speakers.
...kaya nga dapat talaga carefully planned ang room natin ano? either you'll save or spend more...im also thinking of a fixed screen.

I'll build a house first Paul so the "new" HT room will take a loooong while but i'll most likely test on an 80-90" screen in my small room for now. It might even be as small as a 70" diagonal considering that my throw distance would only be a little over 10'.
