Just wanted to share this with you guys...I bumped into this problem as I was trying out my rocketfish 4 port hdmi switcher to connect my bd30 and other media players to the PJ (see below)
I hooked up the pana bd30 player, mede8r, egreat and cinema tube to this 4 port hdmi switcher using short run hdmi 1.3 cables. For output to the PJ, i used a 30ft hdmi 1.3 cable.
For the bd30 which is on the first port, my PJ displayed "not supported" then right below it "H: 59.7Hz V:49Hz"
I then switched to the 2nd port, mede8r and it displayed the same "not supported".
The third port, egreat surprisingly worked and showed up on the PJ screen without any problems.
The 4th port, cinema tube worked just as well.
NOTE: the H and V values change every time i tried.
I reassigned the ports of the media sources and got the same results.
With the 30ft hdmi cable (output to the PJ) hooked up directly to the PJ from each media source (no hub), all worked fine as normal.
I am currently working on acquiring another 4 port hub to test.
Any recommendations?
Better yet, maybe someone has a spare 4 port hdmi switcher that I could test?
