Ang latest ay nakahakot si Doc Mel at susunod na yung isang kapitbahay ko at yung isa pang Kagawad.

Pero duda nung kapitbahay ko e sumimple na din si Kagawad.

Will try this temporary set-up to test the material for PJ screen...it just arrived a couple of days ago.

Bibili muna ng kahoy, pako at pintura for this weekend...

I'm not expecting much Doc other than having the centers come out from the screen...if it works and it comes out tolerable (since there's been a lot of debate on the filtering of some frequencies using this set-up) then i guess i can pursue it when i get the dedicated room done.

..until then, try try lang. hehehe

For now Kagawad, wala muna yung panel. If it works, di na talaga puede yung panel sa likod... $:-\$

Interesting project! I'd really like to experience this kind of set-up. Parang dapat woven fabric ang screen.

My big question is the angle between the front speakers and the main listening position. Ideally, dapat 30 degrees. With that set-up, the angle will be less. I wonder how big an impact that will be.

In any case, gawin mo na para ma-experience naman natin.

I'm also excited to try this out Chief. Btw, those 3 speakers are my center channels. The L/R fronts (our precious XPL200's

) are still exposed. Later on, if tolerable ang outcome as I mentioned, I will most likely try it also with the fronts using the same material in black.

But this will not happen until I get that bigger dedicated room. Hopefully, the digging will start this March or April.

I'll keep you posted with the outcome of this project Chief. I'm thinking of using REW again so i can capture the centers' graph without the screen and with the screen directly in front of it just to compare. But baka puede na ang tenga...hehehe. We'll see...

I might be around your neighborhood sometime soon so I'll bring a swatch of the screen fabric. Will text you.

Let me know the surface front area of your center..putol ako ng size to fit..who knows..you may want to do some measuring of your own...knowing you...probably, yes..
