Wow! Mavs choke big time as Kobe takes over and Ariza proves he's an excellent defensive player.  :o

Mavs have a history as a CHOKER! remember NBA 2006 finals up 2-0 and then Losing to the Heat in 6 games.

tomorrow's a test for the remaining unbeaten teams.. the hawks meet the celtics and the lakers meet the hornets.. i'm guessing only one team remains unbeaten after tomorrow.. go LA! go Atlanta!

Dapat si Cuban ang palitan sa Mavs....  acheche, siya pala ang owner.  ;D ;D ;D

But listen to what The Donald (Trump) had to say:
http://absolutely.fa-bulo.us/donald-trump-calls-mark-cuban-a-loser/

“Mark Cuban is a guy who . . . puts so much pressure on the players. He wants to win so much, ya know, he wants to put himself in the position of the players. He wants to be a player, I guess. And he’s not a player . . . [Cuban] probably always wanted to be a winner all his life, and if ya look like him, you can’t be a winner. So he wants to put himself in the place of the players, so what happens is, the team choked.”

“Same thing with the Mavericks. The Mavericks have a great team. They’ll never win with Mark Cuban as the owner because he is not a winner.”

"There is always, always, always something to be thankful for."

Donald's smoking something different for him to say Cuban's a loser. Cuban's one of the feitiest and passionate owners in the NBA or any league. He transformed the Mavs into a playoff team (the pinnacle was a Finals appearance). He really cares about his team and he's given them all he can give. It's just the players who lack effort or desire to win the ball game. If only they had Cuban's passion for the game, then they'd be winning more games this season.

Cuban should perhaps understand that the other NBA teams may have been better. This is inspite of the fact that his Mavs
had a COY winner in Avery, a legit MVP awardee in Dirk, one of the best PG that ever played the game in Kidd and
very good support in JT & Howard (an All-Star player).

Here's Cuban's description of The Donald:
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/20995929/

“Donald Trump is a first class idi_t,” a candid Cuban responded. “Donald Trump, you’re an idi_t.”

“The reality is, you can’t go back and say Donald Trump was successful at anything other than one thing.
Trump water, Trump magazine, Trump dolls, Trump steak, Trump vodka. When you’re so desperate to make
a dollar, you have to put your name on everything and then you have to comment on everything because
you know … you have to build everything off of denigrating somebody else.”

Passionate, indeed. ;)

That would be the Lakers.     ;)

Still early......but game by game, im starting to sense that this Laker team would be really hard to crack.

They are  putting away teams by committing to a very tough defense.

LAkers escape New Orleans with a win after blowing a 21 point lead. Hornets came as close as 3 and then bam! Kobe with ice water in his veins hits a 3 against Posey and Los Angeles held on for the W. Suuuwwweeettt!!!

How did Atlanta lose to Boston? 1point lang daw winning margin.

a buzzer-beater from Pierce daw.. these Hawks are for real.. if they hadn't lost Josh Childress to Europe, they'd even be stronger..

Seven Things I think I think......10% of the Season Edition

1.  The Spurs will fall into medocrity this season.    Age, injury and bad luck has so far befell them.    Then they'll get lucky in the draft lottery again.
2.  Utah still can't win on the road.
3.  What a difference a coach makes in New York.    The Knicks have bought into the system provided by D'Antoni.    Says a lot about the ability of Isaiah Thomas in handling people.  Thats why Thomas develops suicidal tendencies.
4.  Its like the 80s once again.    Boston and LA Lakers will lord it over their conferences.     The Atlanta Hawks are relevant once again.   And former powerhouses like Dallas and San Antonio will fall back into the pack.
5.  Barring any team health issues, Boston and the Lakers will win more than 60 games.
6.  We will have a first time MVP this year.   Only if the Lakers wont flirt with 70 wins.

7.   Im excited this Christmas not because its Christmas.........because its Boston-LA (next day actually).

I'd like to think Mo Evans was an upgrade over Childress, though.

Oh yeah.....some kinda upset NBA day...

Lakers, Hawks and Celts getting humbled.

Even the injury depleted Spurs pulled off a win against the Rockets.

Derrick Rose is freaking quick!!!!

Once he figures out the game more, and develops his perimeter jumper.....he can reach CP3 level of play.    ;)

Solid doubleheader today:

DET @ BOS first.  Payback time for AI and Company.  They've shown that they can beat the elite teams this season like LA and CLE.

LAL @ PHX.  Shaq vs. Bynum.  Stoudemire vs. Gasol.  Kobe vs. whoever.  Should be a great game.  Thank God it'll be shown on Star Sports.

Another big surprise are the Washington Wizards at 0-5.
Even if Arenas is out, they should  have won over the Nets, Bucks & the Knicks.
Their next 5 games are even tougher - Jazz, Rockets, Heat (2x) & the Hawks... Hope they won't end up 0-10!!!

If that happens.. goodbye, coach! >:( >:( >:(

Whoa!!!
After showing just a 1-10 record, Washington fired their coach.  >:(

This is a sad day, but I'm off to the nearest lotto outlet.. :D

nag umpisa na ang pag fire sa mga coaches ng losing squads. wawa talaga mga coaches pag ganyan kasi sila agad ang unang natatanggal sa pwesto. :P
