So humbling of you Stagea.

'Maganda' is an understatement for these speakers.

They dig up so much resolution, detail and clarity from my existing collection of CDs.

So far he's right. I've had a wharfe, an AE, and just last 2 months ago - mission

I have to admit, It threw my bias against american branded speakers out the window.

Thanks Nelson!

Sorry natalo ng Polk yung manok ko eh (Klipsch RB-61) by a large margin.

I was expecting the RB-61 to trump out the RTi A3 but I was wrong.

sir i auditioned these speakers too! same with you, before the audition naka set na mind ko on getting the rb61s, but after hearing the rti a3 and b&w 685, i changed my mind, unang strum pa lang ng gitara alam ko na na day and night ang diff nila sa rb61. i was a bit disappointed yes kasi mahal ko na si rb61 pero im glad na din kasi i got to audition it before getting it. pero till now wala pa ako nabibili nyahahaha

Gusto ko din ang polk.  :D Kaso baka puro bulong lang ang madinig ko a flea amp ko.  ;D Mix and match lang talaga. It's good you brought your gears along. I heard from a good source na kasama mo pala yun "friend" natin.   ;D   ;D  Kailan ba yun digital front end natin? May mede8er ka na ah. Go for RTi na.  ;) Boto ako jan.

We auditioned these Rti A3 in avshop yesterday. These speakers are really soothing in the ears. They are really great musical speakers. Between Tsi and Rti, Rti really showed that they are a level higher from the Tsi series.

By the way, the avshop staff in kalayaan are really accomodating and knowledgeable about their products.. I hope other Audio and Video specialty shops should do the same. Other hired salesmen doesn't know their own products and most of them echoed questions to their co-salesman. Employers should do something about them. Because they will surely lose customers with these guys.

I'm planning to get either the tsi 200 or rti a3 as my LR and csi a4 for center channel. would the m10 pass as surrounds for this kind of setup? I'm working w/in a 25-30k budget. I'll be using it in my bedroom. thanks for the help

If your considering the TSi200 as your front speakers, go with either the CS10 or CS20  as center; if your considering the RTi A3 as your front speakers, go with either the the CSi A4 or CSi A6 as your center.

The M10 bookshelf as surrounds would be fine.

I already heard the rti a3 in action and was really impressed. am not so sure about csi a4 because i havnt tried it yet? any feedback on the csi a4? either way, i scrapped the tsi 200 on my list. Its now between the tsi 300 & the rti a3. problem is, I like them both. Rti a3 because of the superior sound quality, and the tsi 300 because its a floorstander speaker within my budget range. What's your take? tia for the inputs.

RTi for me, because you can have the sub handle the lows anyway.

I will go with sir Stagea.
I pick Rti over the Tsi.

Same reason.
The only advantage of Tsi300 over the Rti A3 is its a floorstander.

The Rti is a model higher than the Tsi.

Oo nga naman...how can I compare apples and oranges. The RTi would obviously be better sounding than the tsi because the former is a step higher in series. Perhaps the only advantage of tsi is its cheaprer (not necessarily economical) than the rti because sabi nga dito sa pdvd 'the poor man pays twice', so dapat go for gold lagi. I guess i have to adjust my financial plan if i will go the full rti route. i appreciate all your inputs!

My FXi A4 surround has a dipole and bipole switch at the back. WHat is this for? I tried both but could hardly hear any difference. Parang mas malakas lang ng konti ang bipole. Any specific purpose for this switch? TIA

Even the entry level receivers from Denon, Marantz or Onkyo will be find with the Polk Audio RTi A1 bookshelf. As for sub, I suggest you consider the new Polk Audio DSW pro 550.

It should be ok. I'd go for the Onkyo 608 over the 508. Come by the shop to compare the 2 amps with the Rti a3. :)
