anak ng tokwa ang tagal sumagot ng support mula pa nung Sabado
nag text nga kanina bago naman mag 5pm, when I replied past 5pm na so bukas ulit?

so far may follow-up naman support nila tested ko na since the FW upgrade last time
yun lang nagfa follow-up sila kung kelan walang gagawa sa bahay, haaaay...

will be trying the factory reset posted above. Humax main box ko.
rebates kaya 4 days total outage na ito, eh, tapos bagal ng support
weekend pa nangyari

Perform Manual Configuration
a) LNB Type: Dual
b) Lo Band Freq: 09750

2) Polarization: Horizontal

Worked pretty well for Humax box
Got signal in Cignal now after putting in the settings

Extra information for Humax boxes circa 2010 and earlier - newer subscribers have Pac (like my second box)

To reset there's a reset button aptly marked behind the drop-down panel
the button is small and you need a tool to press it in - it's beside the card slot

ensure the coax cable is not attached
you need to get into the screen that says no signal received
then press the i for info button to get to the menu
then put in the details in the earlier post

re-attach the cable and power off then power on again
wait for the STB starting up to complete - it should work this time

Ayus naman at may mga new channels at binago din nila ang channel line-up. Ayaw magpatalo ni Cignal kay Sky at syempre tayong mga subscribers ang nagbebenefit sa competition nila. Sana na lang in the future magkaron ng additional sports channels ang Cignal.

1. Fox Sports is Fox Sports News?

2. I'm on plan 990 and I had Fox. Does that mean that it will transfer to HD channel line up by May 1?

Thanks. I'll do that kapag nakakuha na ako ng monitor to connect the Pace box to.
Malamang HDMI equipped monitor muna just to get the Pace to recognize the main Humax box downstairs

Fox Sports was in Plan990 before, now it is available in Plan430
Fox Channel will now be moved to HD

Plan 990 Will now have 80 channels; 62 SD and 18HD Channels

Whoa! 18HD for Plan 990?
How about Plan 1,290? It only has 16 HD channels
Although hindi ko naman pinanonood yung ibang HD channels

I ranted before on the picture quality of some Cignal channels. Kudos to Cignal for fixing them, but some channels still sucks. Nat Geo(sd) and Studio 23. Studio 23 is suffering from ghost images. Is it really that hard to fix?

I wish they would add more channels to plan 1590. I only has 4 additional channels over the next lower plan, plan 1290. The extra 300 pesos we pay should buy us more channels in my opinion. The reason were sticking to it is because of cartoon network HD and MTV Live HD.

got a call from cignal that they are upgrading all humax boxes to pace boxes for plan 1590, free of charge.. timely rin siguro since one of my humax boxes is beginning to show problems.

i hope they add more HD channels sa mga plan 1590.

Yeah, we also received a call from Cignal just now informing us that they will be replacing our Humax box. They said this is only for Plan 1590.

I wonder what it is they are going to do. Hopefully new channels and Video on Demand.

My secondary Pace box heats up like crazy in an hour after being powered on
It's no even receiving broadcast yet since I did not get to update it in the last FW exercise.
Despite having the power adapter outside of the bow the thing still cooks anything it sits on or on top of it

I doubt the thing will last long against the Humax box
It is much smaller though but I'm more for interruption free service than looks
So I don't think it's a good thing unless they have a better ventilated model.

My Pace STB still can't connect to the correct satellite. Already called up Cignal, and a tech will be over (soon, hopefully).. Just hoping that it's just an error due to the additional channels and that it'll be fixed this May 1 (in 30 minutes).

Just an FYI for anyone who's still having problems like me..
