Ahh..does this also include the Promedia series for PCs? Ako..merong 4.1s......when playing games? DA BEST!
so redkoji, you're part of studio systems huh? i went to spectra last weekend and there is only one floorstanding model there and the person (who was wearing a JBL t-shirt) was not helpful. well, he was at that time entertaining a dressed-to-kill (naka suit) foreigner, who by the way is not interested in the Klipsch.
if you're indeed with studio systems, then i want to audition the Klipsch SB-3 or RB-3 at home so i will know if they would match my DIY 2A3 single ended amplifier.
are you game?
Speaking of Klipsch, I'm really interested in getting the Promedia DD 5.1 so I can enjoy playing MS Rallisport on my Xbox, but dang, can't find anything on the local market. (was thinking of hooking it up to my old Yammie 6 channel receiver). Tried AVID, but they don't carry them.
Online, it can be had for abt USD170 (+shipping - but not sure if they do internationally).
BTW, also have the Promedia 4.1 for PC's. Hanep talaga sa games.
The DD5.1 was initially available for U.S market only. Since malapit na kami magrelease ng 240V PM5.1 kasama na ito ilalabas sa market. Kung my interesado ng magplace ng order of PM5.1 or DD5.1 please contact us. kasi medyo unit lang unit na dadating, kaya first come first served basis
The local Klipsch distributor is AVID. I'm not sure though if they have the models you are interested in.
Talk to our fellow Pinoydiophile, joe3rp. He uses Klipschorns w/ his integrated 300B amp.
redkoji,
i'd like to thank nilo for bringing in the RB-3 to my place for audition.
My uncle has a pair of Klipsch KG-4. And I would say they sounded very natural. One of the best speakers I've heard.
redkoji,
Im not a klipsch owner but im in searching for a pair of bookshelf speaker for audio ( 60 % audio, 40 % ht on two channel.). Can you or anybody recommend a klipsch model comparable or have better performance to dyne audience 42. Is it easier to drive than the 4 ohms audience 42. Hey, this could be OT, its ok if you ignore it
Thanks for the reply redkoji, correction lang, I dont have the audience yet, therefore, i can still change my mind as waht speaker to buy. Im planning to pair it with rotel integrated amp. Thanks for the option to test your demo units, ano ba available the klipsch dyan?

Paging Redkoji and Nilo!
my friend isak0411 wants to audition your floorstanders. he just got a pair of rb-3s but would
like to hear how the floorstanders sound in his
listening room. in other words, he's requesting for a home audition of your floorstanders.
btw, are the new floorstanders rf-15, rf-25 and rf-35 already available? btw, going on sale on the old models?
you can contact him at 493-2445 or 0917-436-8764
thanks!
redkoji, any klipsch reference series floorstanders with discount on sale?? :)
redkoji,
buti sinabi mo to. So how were the tests? Malaki ba diff in terms of Sound Quality?
I have a pair of Klipsch Quartet's...late 80s hand-me-downs. I got it from my uncle in Hongkong and it's been a few years since I last heard it. Will probably hook it up soon....
I own an original Promedia v2.400 5.1 THX speakers for 2 and a half years now for the PC. I bought them from the US pa since I couldn't find one selling here. Ever since I saw the PC Gamer review saying that it was the best speakers I just had to get them.
Actually I need to replace the speaker console. The original version has a problem with hissing, and it didn't have an off switch or a head phone jack. In the US they offered a $50 replacement, but since I'm in the Philippines I didn't know where to get a replacement.
Is there a way I can get one here?
Well if we are going to convert the parts into Philippine Peso, that would mean that the cost range from Php 3,000 to 4,000.
We are currently selling Promedia 2.1 at regular price of Php10,800. But since naka promo ito you can have it Php9,990 or Php10,500 at 6 months 0% interest.
Hi Redkoji,
How much are you selling the Quintet synergy series 5 speakers w/o sub?
hi, sir redkoji!
what other models of klipsch do you have on promo sale? reference bookshelves? floorstanders?
thanks.
geko
sir redkoji... pa-pm naman nung price nung SB2 bookshelf ba yun? :) thanks
bro,
i've inquired about this before...SRP is Php18k...but i think they can still give discounts...siguro mga Php17k yan...thanks! 8)
Marami kasing promo, which particular model ba pinaka-gusto mo
when will the new reference series be coming out? i'm keen on getting the bookshelf...thanks!
Hey who wants a private auditioning ng Klipsch RB-3II?
Lets us know....
hey sir redkoji...is the rb3-II ok for home audition???
thanks! 8)
sir REdKOJI meron na po kayo nung rb-15?....magkano po yun?.....ty ;D
am now a proud owner of SB-2. ;D
hey, julsP168! congratulations, man! ;D
how do you find them so far? sarap bang makinig? wait till they're fully broken in... ;)
redkoji, where can I get SC-1? how much? is it available on installment at 0% interest? i live within QC area and going to Makati is quite a hassle bro...
To prospective KLIPSCH buyer/owner...
In order to fully appreciate the beauty, finess and strength of the klipsch speakers...IMHO ;)you need to audition it with tube-based systems.
If you go to the standard dealers, like AAVID they are used with almost low end solid state receivers...OUCH!!!!! masakit makinig...very revealing. That is why these speakers get a bad rap...horns sound honky, forward...etc!..I don't think so! It is the supporting gear that you hear.
But to listen to a KLIPSCH with good tube amps (even Php 10-15k vintage tube gear) will result in total different litening experience.
In Wiredstate one of the GURUS - Prof. TOOBS has a old mid-level klipsch driven by a 3/4 watts (LESS THAN 1 WATT) DIY amp (which cost a GRAND TOTAL of Php 11,000...mahal.....na mahal niya ang amp)...all I can say is...you have to hear his system ...and you will believe it!
Even the generic KLIPSCH...DTX yata...in Master HYPERTRIODE's place sound really good...again with the correct tube gear.
A DAVID WILSON - WATT PUPPY (20,000 usd) speaker system driven by the same ss receiver you will hear with what is normally connected to the KLIPSCH demo...I am almost sure will sound ...like the amp....
Another thing I learned about these speaker is that they are very versatile. I have had high end minimonitor...perfect for voice, chamber music and orchestra...but put a Phill Collins live concert...kulang!...but with klipsch...may laban.
Enjoy the audition...that is one of the best part of this hobby. Remember you are the customer, they need you more, you do not need them.

Thanks for your comment, however we would like to clarify the issue.
It is long belief that Klipsch speakers are good for tube amp only...however this is not the case in today's current situation.
Klipsch speaker's are good in both tube or solid state amp....so its a matters of listener's ear to do the choice.
Klipsch is an old brand dating back from 1945....and hand in hand became famous at the golden age of tube amp.
Solid state technology back then was in still in a sorry state. However with the great improvements in technology, it can match the tube amp in bringing the best of Klipsch speakers.
There are models of Klipsch speaker that is really develop for tube amp...this is the case for Klipschorn, La scala and other Legend series speakers...since this are designed in the era of the great days of tube amp.
As for the case of the Synergy and Reference this are newly designed models, where technology of Solid state is already credible. Being a distributor, we have seen a lot of buyers comment to us that they are happy with their Klipsch speakers. Some are using it in tube but most using it in solid state amp like NAD, ARCAM, Harman/Kardon, Lexicon, ACURUS and Aragon, Proceed and even Sunfire.
I am not saying that KLIPSCH was designed for tube amps. The newer klipsch come with matching center channel speakers, so that makes them designed for solid state receivers (specifically HT receivers)
I have gone to some audiostores carrying KLIPSCH, when I was lookng at the RF-5, of the 3 stores I visited they where hooked up to "cheap" HT receivers. They have the slam/bang for HT but definitely not HI-END finese for audio. The salesmen all put slam-bang DVD's to sell it. When you try it in plain vanilla stereo mode...a lot is lacking with the set-ups.
The hi-efficiency of KLIPSCH with bad sounding amps will result in a magnification of the roughness of the sound of the amp. IMHO! I think the efficiency and design results in ruthless transparency that can be both good (for good amps) and bad (for bad amps).
The amps you mentioned above are not exactly cheap...they are rated and very refined. That is what I mean, klipsch are usually store demoed with bad electronics. In your store what amp do you have on the klipsch? Klipsch are now always hooked up to an AVR.
But if you are selling the klipsch for 2 channel audio...hook it up to a good receiver/amp in order for it to sound good! But then a lot audio stores for that matter hook up their stuff mainly for convenience and pressure of marketing/sales without properly maximizing the synergy of a system. The KLIPSCH with the cheaper low powered AVR can sound really loud....and only that...IMHO
Thanks for your comment, however we would like to clarify the issue.

redkoji,
Are these available locally?
ProMedia Ultra 5.1 or ProMedia 5.1
ProMedia DD-5.1
If so, how much?
Thanks.
The Promedia Ultra 5.1 is not available here due to the voltage design. Currently it is still available in 110V.
As for the Promedia 5.1 and DD5.1, it is available. We are selling it as package Home Theater in the BOx System. The price is P39,000, 0% interest for 12 months with FREE Nextbased DVD player.
For details, just contact us at 893-8011
Sorry dude, we want as much possible to match the price in the U.S however, since we bring in our product thru legal means, the taxes/duties and VAT, make it impossible to sell at that price range.
We are keeping Promedia line due to "Political" reason and not because of the margin.
sir redkoji,
yung promedia dd 1.5 magkano? san branch kayo meron noon?
by the way they also have the rb n rc
dapat sama na rin yung Videologic Sirroco Crossfire/Digitheater DTS and LiFE 4/10 para masaya. :D
I thought u said, we should not compare your overpriced Klipsch to our Lower priced Logitechs? Wouldn't a shoot-out be kinda illogical?
I really found it insulting when u said that to me in Sir Baron's thread when i was merely asking if he had tried the Logitech z-680 THX which i also have. But that is fine. You are what u are.
Hi Fellow members....
Who owns here Logitec, Creative and Altec THX Certified speakers....we would like to ask you for a shoot out competition....sama natin BOSE Accoustimas and yun SONY DAV-SC8 na tag 40K plus or even the Infinity Oreus which has a price tag of P58K...
Sino may gusto......we will provide the food and place....
Just wanted to know owner's feedback on this speakers, where is it available and how much. :-\ TIA! :)(http://www.soundandvisionmag.com/assets/image/1292003164712.jpg)Klipsch Cinema 10 system
The above system is at display in AVSurfer Rockwell....please let us know when your going to have it audition so that we could have it break-in.

May release date na ba for the Ultra 2.0? Retail in the US is $99.99. Any projected prices for the Pinas? Thanks.
Redkoji may available pa ba na Klipsch RC-3? Thanksodyopayl mukha natipuhan mo na klipsch rb series ah? Nag sisi nga ako kung bakit ko pa nabenta rb3 sa iyo.
Redkoji,
I want to know the difference between a missioin 7.1 system and a klipsch 7.1 reference series. I am thinking of buying another system and im considering klipsch. If you could give me a review of the reference series, i might consider buying it from you. How much? I'm an avid home theater addict

sir Redkoji,
I was at AvSurfer yesterday to see the KLIPSCH Quintet with KSW-10 or Definitive Technology Prosub, unfortunately the salesman told me that there were no stocks left. Sayang >:( , this is a good buy sana to seperate my ht and audio .
available ba ang pro media ultra 2.0 multimedia speakers? how much?
Very pleased with my RW-10 subwoofer. It's exactly what I want - a front firing, front ported design that moves a LOT of air.
Thanks, bosing.
I was already decided on the Velodyne CHT-10 at the time (ayoko ng CHT-10R dahil madali daw masira ang remote), but when the Velo CHT-10 was auditioned side by side with the Klipsch RW-10 at equal crossovers & volumes, mas nagustuhan ko ang Klipsch.
That's just me pre. Pero as I said on that forum, "Nahirapan ako mamili between them" I was already aimed on buying the RW-10 but I just had a nice deal with the Velo. If not because of that, sigurado RW-10 ang nabili ko. HANEP SA GAPANG!
sir danrd... nice deal with the velo??? ;D 8) ;) ano kaya yun???? hehehe....
Bought it brand new @22K from a friend who just came from US. RW-10 costs 24k at Spectra.
I'm upgrading my sub next week. The reviews here on the RW series are good.
Watched War of the Worlds last Sunday. My favorite cologne fell and broke from the cabinet.
OK lang. Ang bango siguro ng HT room mo ngayon!
Hi Sir Redkoji,
Wala namang dumating na stand for my klipsch quintet sa baguio branch nyo. I got tired of following it up. now, may bago me problem with my KSW 10, namatay sya last time when i was playing music and when I checked it, nafuse pala so I had it replaced pero when i turned it on, malaks na humming sound ang narinig ko...SOS po, what should i do bout it?
To sir newbie pa rin, here are my observations for Klipsch RW-10:
- Pinakamalakas ang sub output pag line-level connection, using 2 inputs (left and right) ang gamit; mahina pag isa lang ang input (left OR right) or pag sa LFE Direct lang ang connection.
- Gumagana ang sub crossover adjustment pag nasa line-level or speaker-level connection; bypassed ang crossover ng sub pag nasa LFE Direct connection.
DVD for crossover adjustment:
- When my sub x-over is set at around 60hz to match the x-over of the other speakers (60 hz), malakas pa rin ang "gapang" ng sub, pero nawawala ang "punch". Ang test disc ko ng "punch" ay War of the Worlds. Lumilitaw ang puwersa ng "punch" sa chap. 5 (time = 20:49 to 25:10) pag above 100hz ang x-over AND using line-level inputs.
DVD for volume adjustment:
- Star Wars Episode III (Revenge of the Sith), chap. 2. Use the bass of the Star Destroyer's sound effect. The chapter starts with the Coruscant sun, then shows a slowly-moving Star Destroyer. The sound is not a clean bass, but is supposed to be a rough, rumbling sound. Sobrang lakas ng hangin na lalabas sa RW-10 port, parang hangin ng aircon. If volume is too high, you will get excessive wind turbulence from the sub's port.
Volume adjustment - Start at around 8 o'clock, then increase to get the highest possible volume without turbulence. Never turn the volume dial all the way down to zero (6 o'clock). Ewan ko kung bakit, pero sa unit ko, pag sumagad sa 6 o'clock, may malakas na tunog, parang masisira ang unit.
Where can i audition the klipsch reference series?
Ano po ang bagay na amp para sa rf-25?
WE'D LIKE TO KNOW WHAT ARE PINOYDVD MEMBERS VIEW IN KLIPSCH LOUDSPEAKERS?
TIA.
can i upgrade the center speaker of my PM5.1 to more decent/bigger speaker? para mas buo yung vocal.. :)
Hi Guys,
Is there any members here that owners of Klipsch Speakers. Please let us know what model do you have and the older the model you had, the better. We would like also to asked its history if possible and whats your comments on its performance.
In case your freinds has one also, we would welcome their feedback.
Not to turn anybody off but I am not impressed with Klipsch anymore unless they are Vintage. Klipsch doesnt make good speakers anymore like they used to do. I want Klipsch totally made in Hope, Arkansas not China. It seems like everybody now is aiming om mass producing and forgot to maintain their quality.
On that issue, Trey Cannon (Klipsch Audio Technologies Associate Engineer) posted this on the Klipsch Forum:
To give you an idea of our QC in China, Andre has be there for the better part of 3 months. Making sure things are working the way he wants on a new line he has comming out. We have a staff of 15 or so Engineers that are from China and spend their days at the vendors looking over their sholder. We test most of the incomming parts to the final vendor and 100 % of all finished goods are tested to our Eng. standards. We set up the rules for the test. We go over there to make sure these rules are understood and used. We spot check incomming products when they reach the US. In Eng. we test samples of each production run as they come through the lab. Over all, (ie all Klipsch products) have a less than 3% return rate. Of that 3%, 75 % are found to have no problem. Thus, over all, we have less than 1% of "bad" product ship to the end user. We sale $150,000,000 in product each year. We share as much or more info on how we do things with our end user than most anyother MFG. out there, no matter what they make. We step up and fix all problems as they arise. We look for vendors that care for their workers. Doing things like paying over time, time off, health care. After my trip to China, I call many of them my friend. What more could we do?
These days, moving to China is usually a matter of corporate survival. As long as the parent company continues to maintain its own standards, then that's fine.
what's the difference between the synergy and reference series? looking for a pure audio speaker..
Synergy is the basic line of Klipsch while the Reference series is the premium line. :)
is there a big difference with their sound?
Haven't heard the Synergy series but the Reference series is good albeit a bit on the bright side.
i guess i need to try them all so i would know for myself :)
i guess i need to try them all so i would know for myself :)
That would be the wisest choice. After all, it is your hard-earned money. :)
what's a good receiver brand to match with the Klipsch speakers posted in the previous page?
they sound very good with hk receivers. :)
hello Klipsch owners, anybody using RB-61 for stereo audio listening only? comments? TIA :)
A general characteristic for horn-loaded Klipsch speakers is that they tend to sound quite different (very forward sounding highs) from other brands and models. You will definitely notice upon auditioning if it will suit your ears.perhaps a classic example of wrong set up and choice of gears.
Personally, I heard Klipsch Reference speakers at SnS and my ears already hurt just after 10 minutes of listening.
perhaps a classic example of wrong set up and choice of gears.
klipsch speakers, or any other bright sounding speakers can be heard at its best if paired with the proper gears, wires, and acoustics.
this is true not only for bright speakers but for any other speaker as well. PROPER synergy solves "almost" anything :)

i heard the F2 a year ago at the alabang audio fair.
i remember shaking my head in disbelief how the F2 is able to produce such bass in such a big room space.
and yes, it sounds bright, very detailed.
F-1 din ung unang klipsch speaker na na audition ko and na impress ako sa kanya. Now im a proud owner of the following klipsch speakers:
rf-5
kg 2.5
ksf c5
some people find them too bright but not me. I love em!
im not sure about current klipsch models but i the vintage klipsch (98+db sensitivity) are easily driven and matches well w/ valve amplification. quoting its founder paul klipsch "What this country (america) needs is a good 5watt amplifier". coz he's one "horny sob" ;D
any good soul selling their rs10 fs? :-)
Hmm, I should have checked out this thread before I got the Klipsch RW10 Subs from a friend.
Anyway, its worth every buck for my stereo application
Pictures of the RW-10 (black)

Baka ayaw mo na, SMS ka lang. ;D
Anyway, got me a pair of RB-81 last Wednesday. Bordering brightness siya pero very much controlled. And correct si Don Pipit. Ma-datail siya and the best part is, kayang kaya i-drive ng 3 watt amp ko. ;D Though one very good reason for it's "ma-detalye" is the 97 db sensitivity.
My first klipsch was a synergy2 bookshelf. I was enjoying it in my office matched with a technics amplifier, when one day i decided to bring it home in its box together with a yamaha amplifier for weekend mix and match purposes. Next thing i knew there was Ondoy (the storm not the pdvd member.TY nga pla sir the tannoys.hehehe ;D) again...ondoy and both gears fell victim. Haaay...sad story noh... :'( Ok. happy story naman... :D I just aquired a Klipsch reference rb-81 a couple of days ago. Okay.... make that 3 days ago to be exact. :D Anyone who is into detailed sound would be extremely blissful with this. And yes my friends, its also that clear. ;D
^ Im an easy guy to please. Check your messages.
Already checked. Will surely exert my best effort to please you. ;)
I can smell another hakot.
I can smell another hakot.
Why dont you come over and listen with nelson et. al.? hakot or no hakot the house is open to audiophiles anyway. ;)
Thanks for the invitation sir. :) I will ask Nelson when he's heading over, baka libre din ako nun eh makasabay na rin. :)
Just proceed to Nelson's place, the sub is coming over there.
@Stickfighter:
;D If you could listen to the cd you gave me on klipsch, you might change you're mind. ;)
Talaga...hmmmm makapag-audi-audition nga. ::) Sent you PM brader.
we have the klipsch synergy series available for audition. we also have the klipsch rb51 and rb61. :)
Iba iba ang pricing scheme ng iba ibang dealers sir and they are also dependent on your payment schemes din.. You can try AVShop and AudioWorld.
sir, contact si avshop....im so very sure that he'll be able to assist you with that dilema. i'll be going to his shop tomorrow.
ah....you found them too high sounding? im actually getting the synergy package tom but ill be pairing it with an onkyo. as per sir marc, he said that it would be calmed down with the klipsch being matched to the onkyo.
gosh, now im wondering if i really will like the klipsch now. could you maybe tell me how you found the klipsch
wow, im not sure bro...i would really love to be able to answer your question but the problem is that this will be my first set up. im not counting the htib's i've had as a home theater. how about this, ill ask them to pair it with a pioneer tom when i get there and ill let you know how i find it together. what kind of pioneer are you referring to?
i think that would be the best thing to do...well, thats just my opinion. i guess that im lucky lang that they have the same receiver i'll have. so the tweeter is not to tiring to listen to naman? hehehe now i cant seem to stop wondering
nice!!!!!! i cant wait na nga e so i can go there and check it out na talaga. which of the klipsch speakers are you interested in? the hassle part about this for me is that i have to wait pa before i get to use these speakers because i have to wait pa for my receiver that will be arriving first week of nov (this is me praying very very hard). i just want to get something done na so i just have to wait for the receiver. im actually contacting my friends if they have a spare amp that i can borrow so i can start the burn in period and somewhat enjoy the speakers na
ah ok....god i just hope that this wont be a never ending spending spree for me in the future like the other people i know of. parang every year ang gastos for "gear" (if thats the proper term). i guess thats why im aiming just a little higher so i dont get sawa kagad

I'm using the pioneer VSX-519v but unfortunately for me they don't have pioneer receivers at avshop. :(
It's either i buy it directly or i bring my own receiver when purchasing. ::)
mga brader, sorry for the stupid question. what does SARS mean? lol i really like klipsch! thanks marc!!!!!
hahahahaha
nice one sir mikee!!!!
mga brader, sorry for the stupid question. what does SARS mean? lol i really like klipsch! thanks marc!!!!!
sir, ako personally. i heard the tsi series of polk. i still went with klipsch. im not too sure how much the bookshelves are of klipsch but you can contact sir avshop (marc) directly and ask him na (09173273083) or at the shop (4353210.)
i cant be the best person to give advice because im relatively very new to the ht hobby game but ive always noticed good sound naman. you cant go wrong with klipsch. id go for the tower though or get the package na so mag kakapatid ang mga speakers. hehehehe
Sirs,
I've read positive reviews on Klipsch bookshelf compared with Polk Audio tsi/rt. How expensive are they compared to Polk Audio's? I've also requested price from avshop in another forum.
TIA.
I can't say much for HT because I was never into it, although from a stereo only setup and with my current gear, the Polk RTi As blasted out the Klipsch RBs off my list as far as resolution, imaging and high frequency extension is concerned. low extension still belonged to the Klipsch's but they're not as 'controlled' as the Polk RTi As.@mikeer2002ph Thanks a lot sir. The next thing I need to accomplish is to audition these speakers and find out which one my ears would favor. If I can't stretch my budget - then I would consider a wharfedale floorstander instead.
Then again we have different ears, listen to them both and compare which will take your fancy
I for one used to clamor for the Klipsch RB-61 circa 2006 but it all changed when I factored in the Polk RTi A3 at the same price range.
well as far as pricing is concerned here's the grouping
Klipsch Synergy B2 = Polk TSi100 = 8-9K
Klipsch Synergy B3 = Polk TSi200 = 12-13K
Klipsch RB-51 = Polk RTi A1 = 15-16K
Klipsch RB-61 = Polk RTi A3 = Polk TSi 300 (floorstander) = 18-20K
Klipsch RB-81 (bookshelf) = Polk RTi A5 (floorstander) = Polk TSi 400 (Floorstander) = 28-30K
@mikeer2002ph Thanks a lot sir. The next thing I need to accomplish is to audition these speakers and find out which one my ears would favor. If I can't stretch my budget - then I would consider a wharfedale floorstander instead.
Will appreciate other inputs.
More power.
Just got the Klipsch Synergy C2 center yesterday from avshop. :)
Good thing i brought my receiver when i auditioned it again before buying it since the pioneer was surprisingly a bit warmer than the HK receiver that they used before i auditioned the klipsch last week.
Now can't wait to get money for the B3 bookshelves then my front stage will be complete. ;D

mga klipsch users;
how much is the 3 most affordable klipsch floorstander speakers?
tnx
thank u kagawad. Pagmay oras, makapagaudition sa avshop
Huy. I'm not a kagawad here. Just a regular poster. ;D I think paubos na ang mga stocks ng Klipsch package so better hurry. ;)
was tempted to get one set the other day less 5 percent kase
And i was tempted to get a reference center speaker. Buti na lang di ko afford. ;D
Afford na afford mo, bumili ka nga ng bagong screen eh. :D
Is the Klipsch Quintet 4 any good? Good price but wondering if it will integrate well with my Mirage S-8 sub since the satellites are supposed to be cut off at 120hz.
I think it's very possible to integrate them. If your receiver has an EQ, a slight bump on the cross point might correct for the rolloff of the sattelites and the sub (even without it, I don't think many people would object).
Sub positioning would be vital in making this work, because localizeable frequencies would be redirected to the sub. Try putting it in front, and close to center.
Thanks bro! Yup my sub is located in front near the center. Still studying my options but this is the cheapest one. I'm also considering ordering 3 pieces of Definitive Technology Promonitor 1000 (I am using the older promonitor 80 for my rears) from the US but it will cost twice as much as the Klipsch Quintet.
You're welcome bro. How much will this run you?
If you can accommodate bookshelf speakers, those might give you a better sound overall. There are some convincing budget options out there, imho. :)
any reviews on RB61? ;D was eyeing the RB81 pero kelangan ko pa magbenta ng kidney kung yung ang bibilin ko. ;)
it will be paried with master Jojo's Baby G preamp and Jojo's power AMp ( 50wpc). right now they are driving the sc1 clone, pero nasa 86db lang ata sya compared to rb61's 95db.
good day sir ask ko lng ano opinyon nyo kung ano mas maganda sq newbie lng thank you...
klipsch
RF-35 - 2pcs front 38k
RS-35 - 2pcs surround
RC-52 - 1 pc center
vs. klipsch synergy series 3 .....47k
w/o sub
The Reference series generally performs better than the Synergy series. But if you're not adding a sub, the F-3 might be able to play louder and lower.
magandang umaga po, magtatanong lang po kung magkano ang Klipsch F 3, kung meron po sanag info , salamat po:)

I think they already proceeded with this deal as far as I read in online forums. I wonder whats the future of this brand.
Klipsch reference mark II will be available for demo in my shop soon. :)
Hello,
I have a klipsch speaker 1997 model ksb-3.1. I like the quality and the sound is clear. I'm also planning to buy the newer model RB-81. I'm using this Technics amplifier model SA-GX650. Thanks!
Make sure to get the Reference II version of the RB-81, it has better manners than the original Reference line.
That's a nice way of putting it, Angelo. :)

i hear its a good starter speaker. maybe comparable to polk tsi100.
and i agree with Conan, if you have the cash go for reference.
Ba't claimed sensitivity ng RB81 is 96db, pero as measured ng HTLabs ay 91db lang?
Ba't claimed sensitivity ng RB81 is 96db, pero as measured ng HTLabs ay 91db lang?
imho it's indeed a good buy, good price and with good aesthetics.
indeed comparable. i had the chance of owning a tsi 100 and currently have a b2 but only used for surrounds. klipsch are more into the bright side and it's also easier to drive because of the high sensitivity 92dB.
the b3 model is even better. it will resolve the lack of bass.
;)
From the Klipsch web site of RB-81 II:
SENSITIVITY: 97dB @ 2.83V / 1m
Mga Sirs,
Anyone compared the RF-62 II with RB-81 II?
Mga Sirs,
Where can one audition the Klipsch RF-62 II vs. RF-81 II sidde by side?
Thanks!
Looking over my Klipsch reviews from the past couple of decades, I recall a lot of products I respected and liked but none that I fell in love with. The Reference II is the first Klipsch product to tip over that subjective line. Not that the character of the original Reference has changed that much: The difference is subtle. But it’s real enough to turn this product into one that I could live with for a long time.
Let me repeat my warning that to get the best out of these highly revealing speakers, you’ll need low-distortion amplification that tends to the warm side. Like Klipsches in general, these speakers don’t need much power, but they do need clean power. You also have to be the kind of now old-fashioned listener who’s willing to live in the sweet spot.

Hi Conan I see in your sig that you drive your Klipsch with Onkyo 608 and I am guessing that it is match made in heaven..I am about to purchase my friend's onkyo 608 and just wanna hear your 2 cents about it. I own a RF52 driven by pio 820, it is pretty decent although some records sounds a bit on a high side.
Yes I believe that the Onkyo 608 is a good match with Klipsch for HT purposes. If you're going to listen to records or for pure stereo listening I suggest you look into this T-amp, Topping TP60 sold by Capital 1 here on PDVD. It's around 50 watts per channel and the sound is identical to the current NAD integrated amps. NAD is a very good match with Klipsch if you'd have a chance to listen to them paired together. This T-amp will put to shame a receiver when listening in stereo mode.
New Klipsch User Here =)

So Far very Happy with the sound =) pang hele para makatulog at maka relax =).
Congrats! How would you describe the sound of the speakers matched with Pioneer? I think Pioneer is perceived to be bright.
Congrats! How would you describe the sound of the speakers matched with Pioneer? I think Pioneer is perceived to be bright.
To be honest sir conan this is my first setup(newbie lang me) so medyo hindi ko pa ma compare with non bright set up kung sobrang bright nga ba yung tunog nung akin pero nakakatulog naman ako pag play ako music at nakahiga sa sofa hehehe parang baby na hinehele,
Lucky me siguro hindi pa me nakakadining nung mga magaganda talaga ang setup hehehehe kung hindi sigurado naghahanap na ako ng upgrade hehehe
Pero I heard my speaker na nakakonek sa NAD Amp and NAD CD PLayer nung audition ko yung RB61mk2 mas maganda ang tunog compared sa pioneer 920 ko.
Planning to purchase a mid level integrad amp soon. Any Suggestions?
Tested my RBs with Pioneer dati. Pio AVRs are not bright at all. My AVR is a 2009 model pa. Walang auto calibration so labas talaga ang house sound.
Ah ok. I see some shop owners who "label" Pioneer as bright in their for sale threads.
Owner of Dual Klipsch RW12D...+10000 ;)
So so happy with the performance...
any shops here is Manila that sells the "RB-61 II Home Theater System?"Got mine a few weeks ago from Spectra sa Park Square Sir,
any shops here is Manila that sells the "RB-61 II Home Theater System?"
For bang for buck, is the sw 450 ok? a little bit more is the rw10.
Thanks
The SW-450 is bottom firing, with a back port, while the RW-10 is front firing with a quarter front bottom port.
It all boils down to you on where you'll place the sub and how you'll use it (HT or audio or both)
The SW-450 is easier to place and integrate within the listening area as compared to the RW-10, but the RW-10 once properly placed/integrated offers better 'finesse' over SW-450.
Of course, your ears and wallet will still be the last to judge which is which.
Hmmm... Im leaning towards the sw450 due to the fact that its cheaper.
Will use it for 50% movies, 50% gaming. kaya yung control nia on music, not a factor na din... Although the rw10 goes lower, and is only 3k pesos more kaya napaisip ako hehehe...
Thanks sir!
I heard the SW450 and i was amazed by it.. Montik na akong mapabili nang dalawa nito pero i was looking for a 12 incher.. The sound of the SW450 is the reason why napabili ako nang Klipsch Sub... RW12D
Great sub in my opinion...
anyone here who uses the klipsch rb-81 for two channel music? any thoughts? are they bright?
ask nelson (nelson de leon), he owns a pair of RB-81s for 2 channel valve music.
I believe they are bright (the horns are effective) but it also depends on your amp if you want this brightness attenuated or boosted.
thanks man. i really need to pay master nelson a visit real soon :D
Hello to all Klipsch speaker owners!
I've tested my klipsch speakers with a 1979 AKAI vintage audio amplifier. I fed my cd player with the bossa nova music of Lisa Ono. The bass produced a thunderous sound and you can hear clearly the sparkling sound of the legendary klipsch horn tweeters. The sound was so vivid that you can hear the detailed instruments, the vibrant strumming of guitars, the powerful drums, the dynamics of cymbals and most of all the crystal clear vocals. :D

NAD 326 would match well with Klipsch.
I have a 326 do you have idea how much rb 81 2 costs and where to buy tia
narinig ko ung klipsch Big Bookshelf ni papa JJ LoveMusic kanina
sarap makinig ung pioneer a series integrated amp
hindi na stress ung tenga ko
open pa ung area - partida hehehe
@ Conan Thanks ;)
@ whirpool ; CD Ono Lisa Best 2002-2006. Sa US nabili ng kuya ko 2 years ago. I think sa amazon.com. I'm using the Klipsch KSB 3.1 . We compare it my brothers newer RB 81. The RB 81 has lots of power, maybe due to the newer materials being used by the manufacturer.in terms of musical clarity konting konti lang ang kaibahan. The klipsch horn tweeters has a distinct sound you can hear clearly the magic sound of cymbals and percussions when playing jazz music.
Ito yung very interesting na part. I have a friend who owns a boston acoustics tweeters. tinangal niya yung tweeters sa kotse niya at yung klipsch horn tweeters ko tinanggal ko din. They have the same impedance, 4 ohms. We try to compare who's tweeter is more superior when it comes to a clear, very fine and detailed musical clarity. Testing amp: my Technics old but reliable AVR SA GX-650 new classA.cd player sony . music cd Antonio Carlos Jobim Girl from Ipanema . Judges: mga engineers na barkada ng tito at kapitbahay namin dito sa village. There are 4 of them in their 30's all of them electronics engineers. Results My klipsch horn tweeters panalo. basing on musical details. mas fine at mas bright. MgA engineers na ang nag judge... hehehe! Sabi ko sa friend ko ngayon naniniwala ka na sa akin na tatalunin boston acoustics mo sa klipsch ko sabi mo kasi simpleng tweeter lang yang klipsch...good day to all! ;) :) :D
Cash price of RB 81 II is around 30-31th. Try Spectra at Makati Park Square.
Sir Conan, Ask ko lang po yong 30k for RB-81II are pair po ba? mukhang maganda eto ah, mapag-iponan ko nga eto...
Yup it's for a pair. You should visit Spectra first though, as the distributor of Klipsch changed so I'm not sure of the current availability.
Sir Please PM me the contact number of Spectra.
many thanks,

Same question here, i tried back reading to no avail, as much as i would like to call each shop on the PDVD directory, i believe it will be easier if someone could just chime in :)
I know the hunt is something worthwhile to do but that is one luxury i dont have at the moment.
Tried the FS section but i cant find the speakers i am looking for.
This is what i am looking for:
http://www.klipsch.com/promedia-2-1-computer-speakers
I also need feedback regarding their wireless counterpart. Im not an audiophile but i want crisp sound and deep base something that the causal 2.1 cannot provide., the only thing i dont like with wireless speakers is the noise when no music is playing (Experienced this on a headset)
http://www.klipsch.com/promedia-2-1-wireless-computer-speakers
Thanks in advance
Try asking dealers. Baka alam nila.My Tweak on my RB3: Put foam (like egg tray) to all internal walls and makes the lows more accurate.
Update on my RB-81. Suprisingly, ang laki ng pinagbago sa depth and extension ng lows when i changed to a more powerful amp.
despite bing known to be very efficient speakers, giving it more juice pala still makes it even better!

Wow! Napakahirap tangihan ng offer na yan... :o
Location is Commonwealth. PM sent! The best thing for this RB 81 is that port located on the front make it easier placement especially back wall distance. is that an 8" midwoofer? :o

it's from a local seller here in our neighborhood here in the u.s. i just converted the price to php.
Now that klipsch arent readily available in RP, a lot of people will envy your access. :)

I just passed by Spectra at Park Square Makati and they still had Klipsch speakers available. I didn't talk to the store owner anymore though if they still had a continuous supply.
Or, si Tmans, may access sa importer ng Pioneer and Klipsch.
AFAIK they are the ones who stopped carrying Klipsch locally.
Oo nga pala. So pati yun pro audio series ng klipsch wala na din...

I heard HiFi+ Asia na ata ang bagong distro.
just got an RB61 II after losing my RF52 months ago now my problem is where to get a matching center RC 52 II. Any suggestions where can I get one or should I go to ebay?
Are you in the US or in RP?
RP sir, just called Spectra unfortunately wala na stock ng center but RC64 @ 80k :-/ I see ur using 10cm as ur center kamusta when paired with Klipsch?
Ok na,am kasi i got the 3 way, hindi iwan sa klipsch.
I've been trying to find either ofmthose and had the chance to grab the 62 sa listening room but when i came back to get it may nakabili ma >:( oh well, i hope somebody distributes it again locally.
It's really too bad that the local distributor dropped Klipsch. Can't understand why they did it.

Guys, you should try the new Musiland 2012 USB DAC 01 series. it sounds great with my system. Less shouty, and more balanced sounding at higher volumes. Feel free to audition it at my place in Commonwealth QC.
Master nelson, pm mo sakin yung price, different na ito sa natest natin sa ht room mo right?http://www.pinoydvd.com/index.php/topic,159512.0.html

kapag pogi, may discount pa yan cash price. if master nelson says that the performance is almost the same as his 03, this is already a good bargain and should fit your highend klipsch speakers very well ;)

After reading your posts i cant wait to try it again hehehe. Ganda rin kasi ng room acoustics ni master n eh.
It's a different beast compared to the 03. Masbumagay dati ang 03 compared sa older 01. But now, i'm enjoying the new 01. At first, akala ko, nagsawa lang ako sa sonic signature ng 03 so probably i'm trying to enjoy the new sound. Though mas-critical pa din ang 03, with the newer 01, i can play my music louder and still enjoy it. Mas balanced siya sa system ko, even at low, mid or reference volumes.
Will go for NAD integrated...to tame the forward sound of Klipsch RF62ii..you really won't need a sub as the RF62ii can handle lows easily when playing music..
thanks sir mbtorn. now 326BEE or the 356BEE? The klipsch has high sensitivity so I think NAD 326BEE will be enough. But still need your opinion on this. thank you
@50wpc, the 326 can easily drive the rf62ii..but the big brother, 356, has better specs & has mdc option for dac or phono in case you want to add it in the future. Nad is very punchy yet musical, which matches the forward sound of klipsch. You will need at least 200 hours to break in the klipsch.
Mukha ngang bagay ang NAD. Sakto lang ang 50w. Pero despite it's sensitivity, based on my experience, medjo slightly matakaw din sa power ang RF lalo na if you want to produce good lows at reference levels. I would still require a sub because the reference series are not capable of producing a smooth respose below 45 hz. Ang kagandahan lang is steep roll off siya so madaling integrate sa sub. Room mode na lang ang kalaban mo sa integration.

Auditioned the R26F a few weeks ago at Spectra, very nice. I was looking for a floorstander and initially auditioned the ELAC Debut F5; was about to leave, when they offered me to listen to the R26F. Being more or less the same price, I would choose it hands down, over the ELACs. Midrange is about the same "fun" level as the F5s, but the highs offer more clarity and detail. I didn't take note of the amp used, but it was a NAD if I remember correctly.
I paired my RF 62 II with Nad 356BEE, but sadly bumigay na yung amp last week after 3 years of everyday use. Maganda yung combination ng Nad Sa Klipsch.
Balak ko bumili ng Emotiva PT 100 preamp + a300 poweramp. I know power headroom is good and my speakers can handle the 150watts of the a300. Pero for the sake of discussion lang, anong opinion nyo about sa 150watts per channel ng Emotiva a300 paired with Klipsch RF 62 II na 125watts ang power handling?
hello guys. contemplating on changing my year 2000 wharfedales with klipsch, either the reference or the reference premiere line. planning to do atmos too. recently bought a denon x1300w sa lazada at 22k (supersale lol) so wanting to get a new set of speakers for ht and some music listening too.
any difference between the R and the RP?
i went to manila to go with my wife for a convention, ended up bringing three klipsch speakers. lol.
medyo kinabahan pagdala as checked in baggage pero thankfully, no damage pagdating sa cebu. the packaging is really sturdy. i just finished welding some wallmount but looks like it has be scrapped as need to angle pa more to the listening position.

I was about to pull the trigger on the RP series since the price was vrry reasonable. But when we made sn A/B comparisson with the RF7 the RP sounded very harsh and unrefined. The RF7 was way way better.
Saving up for the RF7 😥
130K at the show.
Coming from rooms with 3.5M speakersthe RF7s couod compete
Bro, may I know how these speakers sound? I assume these are to be paired with low powered tube amps? Quite interested as I have a 300B SET amp. TIA

The RF7 proved to be more musical.
Hindi namimili ng kanta.
