Hi guys!! This LotR:TTT:Extended editon, will be the first DVD I'm gonna buy(since March in Manila) while living here at my new home in Las Vegas.

Any fellow PinoyDVD members here in Vegas?

guys and girls, anong sound format ang available sa LOTR: TT extended? as per amazon.com, "Dolby, DTS Surround Sound".

is this Dolby Digital 5.1 and DTS 5.1? thanks in advance!

The available audio formats in the Region 1 set are Dolby Digital EX 5.1 Surround Sound, DTS ES 6.1 Surround Sound and Stereo Surround Sound.

I tried to ask some staff of astrovision megamall and they still don't know if it will release. Some members here sell copies. you can look for parc or charbit. They sell copies of lotr extended edition

not on the extended edition. however, you can find a "behind the scenes" teaser for ROTK in the 2-disc theatrical version of TTT.

but then again, i could be wrong... since you haven't been able to locate all the easter eggs (and so have i), maybe one of the easter eggs is an ROTK trailer like the one we see in the theatres during the past weeks!!!

Got na my copy of the giftset from Amazon.com after the local postoffice sent me a note na pwede ko nang pickupin yesterday. Mabilis yung shipment niya for a standard shipping coz it was shipped on Nov. 16 and dumating on Nov. 27.

Umabot ng (US$)62.42 + P100 charge sa postoffice yung total cost. For others who have also ordered online, dumating na rin ba? let's compare para next year - ROTK naman!

I think the LOTR TTT EE DVD has only one easter egg. Panay search ko sa Disc 2, wala talaga.

Too bad they didn't include the theatrical teaser for ROTK.

Nonetheless, this is definitely one of the best DVDs released this year. It really gives depth to the theatrical version of TTT and sets up a lot of stuff for ROTK (esp. that Faramir flashback scene).

I got my copy of LOTR-TTT extended edition yesterday. Just a minor observation sa packaging, medyo OC kasi ako pagdating sa packaging ng boxsets DVDs e.

Di ba talaga pantay or aligned yung labels and line breaks dun sa spine ng box sets ng FOTR and TTT pag pinagtabi? Medyo may mataas yung labels ng TTT and mas flat yung surface unlike sa FOTR medyo curvy or concave yung spine parang book at mas antique ang dating may artificial wear and tear pa yung print design.

Checking out the behind the scenes documentary of the film, the actor who played the voice of Gollum.. wil be on ROTK providing flashback when gollum was still smeagol.. Nice presentation.. try watching it on Disc three of the 5disc Gift set ot the two towers

Just got my copy last Saturday thru the generosity of my cousin from Florida, the discs are so difficult to lift from the hub...just like the hub of Harry Potter dvds.

Are all the Two towers dvd...made/pressed in Germany?

It says at the back of the box-set.

I initially had difficulty with my Extended Edition in lifting the first disc from the hub. But after that first time, okay na every time I take it off. Sa first disc lang naman ako na-experience itong minor problem.

Yeap same here. I had difficulty removing the first disk from the hub but after I removed it, it became easier the next time around.

no difficulty on mine naman. i remove the sticker dun sa made in germany, para walang blemish pag pinagtabi yung fellowship

wala naman akong napansin sa main feature discs... ewan lang sa special features discs???
