back read ka lang ng konti and you will have the answer by downloading a toll called mkvtoolnix, and you have to remux the file. it takes around 4 minutes to do the remuxing and the files will usually play on the nmt already.

nice! thanks for the info. research ko na ngayon.  :)

I think you got the latest version v4.2.0. If that's the one you got here's what you do after opening the file
first highlight the video track in the middle box then click on the extra options tab and under compression choose none. Then highlight the audio track and do the same thing. After that you can remux the file.

Or just download an older version of mkvtoolnix. It's these last 2 versions that are causing the errors if you don't change the compression to none. The default before was none but the programmer changed it the last 2 versions.

Sir looks eto po yun. 3 files na yun naayus ko using this method. Akala ko nasayang lang yun bandwidth ko.

that's right. the jukebox is too slow to be practical.

beta version pa ksi bro. pero try mo ung customized 1.35 version ni Benhur from Xtreamer official forum mas ok at mabilis sya. I've been using it right now until new jukebox stable version is released.

The IP address is assigned by your router, perhaps there is a problem with the cable or the ethernet port you are using on your router is broken?

Sorry to sound like the IT Crowd show, but have you tried turning it off and on again?

Ibang chipset na gamit sa sidewinder. So most likely no support yung passthrough. I may be wrong though. My basis is that the firmware is the same, but no support for the previous model. So most likely it will never be supported. I may be wrong though.

Hi guys,

I got an Xtreamer Pro and Im happy using it with my LCD.

Ask ko lang, has anyone tried using your Xtreamer on a CRT TV using RCA cables? I tried to use mine when I visited myrelatives in the province (payabang ba! Hehe). But alas, it wont display the right picture quality. I made sure my xtreamer was in NTSC mode, trie it on 3 different brands of TV, and changed the RCA cables but it really would not display a clear pic. There was sounds, but the picture was not clear and in black and white.

Anyone have any idea how to solve my problem?

Thanks!

@miccollo

Hmm.. Never had that problem. Was using the Xtreamer on an old Sony CRT TV before I got an LCD monitor with no problems naman (didn't mess with the settings though, yung default lang).

Anyways, quick question lang - can the xtreamer upscale SD content? I've got a ton of old original R1 and R3 DVDs which I don't really want to replace. I was planning on using my PS3 as an upscaling DVD player but alas, my PS3 is Asian so it's coded to R3. I tried ripping both my 300 (R3) and Ah! My Goddess (R1) to isos and tried playing them on the Xtreamer. From the looks of it, they were playing in their default resolutions and weren't upscaled.

Currently using firmware 2.4.1 and the Xtreamer is set to 1080p. Meron pa bang settings na kailangan galawin? Can anyone help out? Thanks!

I think there is a setting to turn on the 1080p in the A/V Settings. I dont know if this would upscale the video. Just using CRT lang kasi.

Yup. Set the options to 1080p, but seems like SD content isn't getting upscaled. Blurry pa rin eh.

thank you for the reply sir. i think ang may problem is my ethernet cable kasi when i used the wi-fi antenna naka-connect ako sa network and may ip address na sya. the problem now is, when i choose internet on the main menu, biglang nag-hang. also on the movie jukebox. is it my firmware? nag-upgrade kasi ako to 2.4.1

this is true in my case.  I've a movie that wont play right (no video, just audio) in 2.4.1 after the upgrade (2.4.2), all is well.  I was about to remux that file until I saw the update, I'm glad I did the update first before bothering to remux, now I don't have to :)

Try going to the network settings then click DHCP IP AUTO. This worked for me.
