that's why i prefer demo'ing the speakers with audio content. feel ko kasi (except for LFE bass) walang lamang ang movie content sa music ... so if it's good for music, it should be good for HT [but not necessarily vice versa]
+100 ka kapitana
Seriously, this is true. Whenever I help master anthony with auditioning/reviewing his new speakers, I always audition it in audio. In fact, bonus nalang after yung Ht.
'Coz in HT - focus ng attention is always what we see on the screen - so mahirap mag evaluate ng speaker based on just dialogue or effects. Unless of course kung concerts, but may concerts din na hindi maganda ang mastering - so audio CD is still the best.
If you guys remember the very first SVS speaker EB we had and sir Obsi brought his Telarc audio disk - that sound of the T-Rex was so very crisp and clear that it sealed my decision to switch to SVS speakers
I even downloaded that exact T-Rex file na lossless in my computer to check if my Rotel integrated 1062 and B&W 602s3 computer setup could possibly match what i heard in the EB - sadly it did not. Which is also why I decided to sell my B&W speakers that I was using in my HT.
