i would like to agree here, parang yung nba PG eh rose, cp3 at westbrook lang but parker plays really good at least sa mga games na napapanood ko, i dont think the Spurs would go a long way kung di mahusay na PG si Parker,
Parker is a good pointguard, right there in the top 5.
However, I believe it's Duncan who is still the anchor of the team. Everything still revolves around him, plays are designed for him and a supporting cast was gathered to compliment his strenghts and weaknesses. Although his numbers are down, one look at how they start a play and you will get what I mean.
At the beginning of a half court play, they usually start off with a "traditional" 4 down play. Duncan gets it, more often than not commands a double team, they space the floor, and somebody gets a clean layup or a three.
Pop wants Duncan in the playoffs for a reason, that is why he gets extra resting time, the spurs need Duncan in the playoffs.
Parker and Ginobili of course, do their parts as well.
Parker though, is no MVP. The Award is usually given to the statistic monster. hehehehe...
And for that, there is no bigger and more athletic monster than LBJ.
LBJ will probably and deservingly win that award.
