In terms of volume and efficiency, ang hirap matalo si Curry. He's shooting 46.8 of his 3's at a really high volume.

Best shooters of all time: Curry, Nash, Reggie, Allen, Peja, Bird..

So extending the 3point line would only lessen other teams' 3point prowess but Curry would still be effective shooting long range 3s.

Kakaiba talaga. Warm up lang nya mga 3pt shots from 28ft and he can make consecutive shots without a sweat.ganun kagaling.

Even 2k version of Curry cant do what he does in real life. Kaya pag sinabing 2k mode si Curry, that is an insult because he is better than his computer version.

I think the only way to negate Steph's dominance  the same way they did to Wilt (mentioned  earlier), Charles (5 sec backdown) and Shaq (zone) is simply to remove the three point arc altogether (w/c they wont do). Extending it will not stop him. Hand checking wont work as much since he is also as dangerous off-the-ball

What this kid has been doing is just ridiculous. Off the dribble, step-back/side step fadaway accuracy. Pull-up from out of the gym range... It's insane.

When he took that shot, i just knew it was going in. It's as if greatness is already expected from him. Last time I felt that was while watching MJ. This may be basketball blasphemy but imo and coming from a Jordan fan, Steph may very well be the most lethal offensive player in the history of the game regardless of the era or the rules they play/played in.

I think Steph will soon be in the record books as the only player who won the MVP award and has a great chance to win the Most Improved Player award the year after winning the MVP. He was already unstoppable last year and this year he just simply elevated his game even more.

Gods gift to the bay area after decades of NBA misery.

Been watching NBA lately and am just in awe of Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors.  Haven't seen basketball skills elevated to that level since Jordan - the guy can play jaw-droppingly well!

I saw something special when I posted that on December 12, 2014 (on the previous NBA thread) when nobody was talking about him.  Look at where he is now.  :)

It's his range that's unprecedented.  Add the fact that he can set up the shot by himself thru feigned side steps, back step, behind the back and between the legs dribbling, very hard to stop.

thats what am saying, the range goes hand in hand with his accuracy, only a handful of people can shoot over 40% from 3, move those same people back 2-3 feet and their accuracy goes away. Steph though can accurately shoot way beyond normal. 2 to 3 steps back baka acceptable pa, but this guy shoots 2 to 3 steps after the half line. He's just plain awesome.

Read an article from ESPN that Steph who weighs 190 pounds can dead lift 400 pounds. No wonder he can shoot at that range with ease.

I read an article in bleacher report that teams have been sending their guards to pick him up either at half court or even three quarter court, the problem though is that he also has insane handles so if the guards arent as quick as him, he'd blow by them and still pull up at the 3 area or even go all the way to the cup. Pick your poison...

The Zen Master is getting a lot of heat because of this tweet about Steph Curry :)

"Never seen anything like SCurry? Remind you of Chris Jackson/ Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf, who had a short but brilliant run in NBA?"

https://twitter.com/philjackson11/status/703987224858198017

From what I remember in the 90s, Abdul-Rauf was also fast and had great ball-handling skills, a good scorer. But I don't think he has Curry's shooting range or accuracy. Curry's entire skill set is really unique. I don't know anyone who really comes close.

Maybe its just a different generation or an easing of player restrictions.

Lets face it, most of Steph shots are bad/ill advised shots. Yes they go in, but 10 to 15 years ago you will get benched for taking a side step fade away 3 pointer even if it goes in. Think Phil Jackson, Pat Riley, Greg Popovich, George Karl and the Utah coach hehe

Maybe Phil has a point there, a lot of players could have been a Steph, but the basketball world wasnt ready at that time.

Did Mark Jackson give him the freedom to shoot when he was the coach?

Meanwhile, the Miami Heat quietly signed Joe Johnson to help them in their playoff push.

I grew up watching mid-late 90's NBA, it seems ung mga ex-players ay medyo ingit lang kay steph.. That game against OKC, i wanted the warriors to lose, kaya lang iba talaga, even the best defensive guards wala rin magagawa sa kanya..

Go Spurs..

Wow!

The most 3's Bird ever made in a season was a league-leading 90 makes at 40%. Curry might finish with 400 3's this year.

Who holds the record for the following:
- most three point shots made in a game
- most three point shots made in a season
- most three point shots made all time

Googled it!  ;D

- most three point shots made in a game
12 - Kobe Bryant, Donyell Marshall, Steph Curry

- most three point shots made in a season
Steph Curry got top 3 spots. He's breaking his own season records since 2012-13 season.

- most three point shots made all time
2973, My boy Ray Allen. Steph's still has long ways to go at 14++. But at the current pace he's getting 3's and sustain it, he'll no doubt top that as well in about 4-5 seasons
Never stop learning.

The only thing stopping Curry from greatness would be his bad ankles. There was an article in espn.com which discusses his weak foot and what he is doing to strengthen the foot etc.

Natapilok pala sya last game, natapakan ni westbrook paa nya. He will be evaluated if he will play next game.
