from what i was told at the cashier counter of Astro Podium, Oct 14-16 is the Anniversary of Astroplus / Astrovision, i got the impression that all branches would be on sale but i didn't confirm except for Megamall & Podium branches (was only concerned about either Mega or Podium due to proximity)

After watching parts of my BTTF Trilogy last night, here is what I have to report:

Good news:  Subtitle was right, the DTS is in English and not in Spanish...yehey!  This is what I was really after in the first place    The error in Disc 2 has already been corrected...another hurray for that!

Bad news:  Toyfanatic was right, Disc 3 still had the frame error although this was just really obvious in one part where you couldn't see the shoes of Marty, the others were negligible but nonetheless, its still there.

Conclusion:  Since I bought these already, I can live with it.  The errors in Disc 3 will not really affect my viewing experience--since you really have to look for them to notice the errors. IMHO the English DTS tracks more than make up for it.  But, if you are planning to purchase one, I suggest that you get the "REAL" new version.

Btw,  was there really a resolution to this?  I was reading the BTTF R3 posts and it looked like the people there  just got fed up and forgot the whole thing.  Maybe Firewired can shed some light

Sana may mga bago na classic dvd na sila or hard to find talaga. kasi lagi na lang ganun mga titles nila. Bihira lang sila magkaroon ng bagong titles. Kung meron bagong titles sila minsan hindi pa sikat parang B MOVIE.

Wish lang sana improve nila mga titles nila sa dvd.

sir dlb, maybe you can post your findings at the bttf region3 thread, para ma-update naman. bttf is one of my favorite movies ever, and i hate to see people disappointed when they buy the dvd set.

hindi nga!?!?! nung pumunta ako sa sale e nakita ko yung Die Hard na SE pero nung tinanong ko yung saleslady kung may Die Hard 2 na SE e wala daw lumabas na ganon. Since medyo bitin ako kung yung part 1 lang ang bibilhin ko, hindi ko na tuloy binili.

pero kung nalaman ko lang na 2-discs pala yung part 2 e tapos na dapat usapan

how is the Die Hard SE as compared to the older version? what are the major improvements?

Well, you can select other title. Kaso kung Magna title yan, sa magna ka lang pwede pumili. I was there on friday, first customer ako, naka-orange. Kasama ko nagbrowse si aszamora (pre...next sale ulit kitakits) Then on saturday to return two titles with errors. Nameet ko si esi, nakita nya kung paano ko kinulit yung podium para mapalitan yung binili ko. Thanks to esi for the help.

me too!  im not over with "the ones that got away"... Lion King 1 1/2 R1, Shrek+Shrek 3D, Jack Ryan boxset, Lion King SE (was there one in Podium?).  i had a chance to get them but didnt...

We should pray for new titles...specially pirates of the carribean, lion king, air force one, dinosaur 2disk, van helsing (not c-interactive), toy story, dat, kill bill, spy kids trilogy & hero. Pag ito nakuha ko ngyong sale, solve na christmas ko.

We have had reports from some members na yung Die Hard 1 & 2 na binili nila, kahit na yung cover yun regular edition...ang laman pala yung 2 discs.  Probably check the 299 Fox titles thread.

I myself witnessed this.  Nagpabili sakin cousin ko before ng Die Hard 1 & 2 bundle.  Both covers are the regular edition.  But when I inspected it...lo and behold both are the 2discs special edition.  Kaya pala parang ang bigat.

i noticed that the next sale are all in that area of podium, galle, mega, etc e...kawawa naman us southerners hehe...anlayo nyan (esp w/ the recent gas hike) :'(

sure na ba na no sale in the ayala malls in makati?
