Has anyone tried any of Sinewave Electronics' products? I know they don't make T-Amps, but it's kind of related (since they specialize on affordable Class-D amps).

http://www.csinewave.com/

Your inputs would be highly appreciated.

Wala pa ata locally. Mukhang interesting yung products nila, especially at this price point. Yung mga ready to use amps (G300V100, G300X, G200N and G33D) presyong transformerless amp module lang ng iba running the same chipset. The build looks nice for the price naman, saka backed by a 2-year warranty.

Their amp modules are also reasonably priced. Pwedeng pangbuo ng affordable power amp. :)

finally i got the 999 peso amp kit from Elab up and running:
http://www.electronicslab.ph/forum/index.php?topic=30065.0

setup using Aiwa bookshelf speakers, an MD player, The Bread playing.....

i used an 18-0-18 volt transformer, dropped 6volts at full blast:

initial impressions, this amp is so cool to touch that i suspect i can still up the input voltage to up the dc rails for more power.....will wind a new power traffo with bigger capacity and investigate....

soundwise, very clear, no sibilance, bass is ample, no need for a subwoofer.....

di ko pa nasubukan sa bridge, pero twice the power at 8 ohms, hindi adviseable yung 4 ohm bridge.....

^i have the sip package board given to me by the guys at e-gizmo, i am trying to look for a suitable or bigger heatsink.....sounds awesome too.....compared to the 8920, the 8920 does not really heat up inspite of loud volumes....

i'm new to this hobby. i just want to know if the topping tp30 will be enough to power my yamaha speakers: nominal input 70w
music input power 250w
nominal impedance 6 ohms
sensitivity 90 db/w/m
3 way 4 speakers.
i've been thinking of getting a t amp for quite some time now since my luxman m02 is giving me static while it's playing. i don't know if i should get a t amp or i should just have my luxman repaired. i don't know where i can have my luxman fixed btw. is it also fine to put a preamp before the topping tp30. my luxman c02 is still working fine.

Guys, can you recommend a pair of bookshelf speakers at least 94db efficent to be driven by a 20wpc t-amp?
Alternatively, can you recommend a diy speaker builder for a single driver FR at least 94db efficient (Alnico, Fostex, etc) using double bass-reflex type enclosure in real wood veneer cabinet? TIA.

That's a nice amp Tony, what are the rails? I have a spare 300va toroidal here with 32-0-32 secondaries, any luck using that on those?

Thanks!
