try to setup the resolution manually, dont use the scaling option ..
btw you can also try and oversize the pic and use your tvs adjustment .. (Horizontal positioning and Vertical positioning)

Both Panasonic LX and Samsung A550 deliver same quality pictures for DVD viewing. Because of small size TV, you won't see significant difference in picture quality between full HD Samsung 32A550 and hd-ready Panasonic 32LX80.

Samsung delivers a bit brighter and glaring picture.  Because of this, the color seems a bit wash-out.

Panasonic is made of IPS Alpha panel. IPS Alpha panel delivers deeper blacks and more accurate colors. IPS panel also presents image that can be naturally viewed from all directions. By the way, Samsung is not made of IPS panel.

Visit Sights and Sounds 4th level Shangri_la Plaza to see side-by-side comparison between Panasonic and Samsung.

My take for PS3 Gaming:

Panasonic 32LX80
+good blacks very accurate colors
+fast 6ms response time
-Too grainy on Blu-Ray (just an opinion, some actually like this)

Toshiba 32CV500
+best game colors, soft yet accurate
+best for PC use
-9ms may be too slow for racing and fps games will blur with these types of games

Samsung 32A550
+fast 5ms response time
+full hd at 1080p
-colors are off, too bright and may stress your eyes for prolonged gaming ( I have quality issues with this unit )

My honest observation.

Maputla bro yung toshiba and it is too slow in games, I have it on display at trinoma and robinson. You can compare the units by using pS3 as  the source.
32lx80  vs 32cv500
32le8 vs 32av500

I also have a samsung 32a550 there wala din sinabi sa 32lx80. ;) If the price of the 32lx800 drops mas maganda talaga ito sa lahat ng 32 lcd. ;D

32LX80 too grainy on Blu-ray?will this because of it cannot support 1080p signal?will it really bad(compare to other product)when watching BR movies??

Nope, it's just a way the film makers do their transfers, Toshiba's soft colors does not make this "grain" too noticeable. I have to agree with Sir Nemesis, the LX80 is the best 32 incher out there for over-all performance. Don't know how it fares against a Samsung 6 series though.

Not really, you can always adjust the contrast and brightness. Kahit samsung na 2 meg 32a550 cant compete w/the color and depth of the 32lx80

Best is to see it side by side, pana vs tosh vs sammy. And then you be the judge. ;)

Sir Nemesis, how does the LX80 compare to a Samsung A650? Ok naman sana talaga yung A550, it's just like I said in my previous post, I had major quality issues with Samsung.

Short story about Sir Jeff and his team:

 - went to T&W
 - tested units with a very patient and accommodating Jun
 - called Credit card company because I will be exceeding my limit
 - Jenny talked to CC company
 - negotiation w/ CC took more than an hour, but Jenny was also patient
 - next day I checked my email and price quoted by sir Jeff was lower than what I paid
 - called sir Jeff
 - he gave me a discount for the wall mount I was going to pay for anyway (free na!  ;D)
 - delivered that evening
 - mom didn't want to have it installed because it will be too noisy for the neighbors
 - installation team went back early the next day for installation
 - one very happy customer!  ;D ;D ;D
