It looks like the Marion-trade will be a four-team trade...

...Orlando Magic get -- trade exception and cash considerations from the Toronto Raptors, and cash considerations from the Dallas Mavericks

...Toronto Raptors get -- Hedo Turkoglu, Devean George and Antoine Wright

...Dallas Mavericks get -- Shawn Marion, Kris Humphries, Nathan Jawai and cash considerations, Greg Buckner (from Memphis)

...Memphis Grizzlies get -- Future seconc round draft pick from Dallas, Jerry Stackhouse and cash considerations (from Dallas)

thus far, it seems like the Spurs' RC Buford has been giving a clinic on how to be a GM.

- Got RJ for spare parts
- Got Haislip at a discount
- Got McDyess from under everyone's nose
- Drafted well, from many scouts' observations
- Kept the core intact

SA is Friday the 13th all over again. Scary.

I'm happy with the Spurs' lineup. The only question is, do Duncan and Ginobili still have legs to pull out a ring?

And why didn't they get Gooden? He will be a good addition in their frontourt.

Whoa! A possible Portland-Chicago-Utah deal is in the works with Utah getting Tyrus Thomas, Bulls getting Boozer and Portland landing Kirk Heinrich.

They can still re-sign Gooden, if they want him back...since, the Spurs currently have 11 players under contract...and if you include Dice and Blair, that's 13...that means, they can still sign 2 more players...they might bring back Bowen, para mag-retire si Bowen in a Spurs uniform...or, they might sign McClinton, for his 3-point shooting...

sa spurs they need to make sure that manu is 100% and finley can still slug it out with younger players. as for TD, consistent pa rin siya. tapos si tony parker he should limit his shot attempts pag healthy lineup sila para lahat involved and confidence builder din yun sa mga kakampi niya para maganda ang takbo ng offense and defense nila.

agree about the spurs being under the radar... blockbuster they are not but a huge impact on the team.
not only they have those acquisitions you do remember george hill and roger mason giving the spurs quality minutes when manu was down.

I'm hoping the Jazz are able to get rid of Boozer and sign Milsap. My only question is, why did they give Okur 21M for 2 years? I don't think he's worth 10M+, at least not in this economy.

Big men tend to be overpaid and Memo's contract is fairly short term. That's still a bargain compared to Varejao's 6-yr $50m contract. Lebron's definitely leaving Cleveland next year.

The official press release from the company who delivered the goods...

eBaum Nation Snags Exclusive Video of LeBron James Getting Dunked on by Jordan Crawford, Scoops TMZ and Streams on BitGravity

eBaum Nation Selects BitGravity as CDN, Gets Video Up in Less than an Hour

ROCHESTER, N.Y. and BURLINGAME, Calif., July 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Anticipating a traffic spike, eBaum Nation, the site for all entertainment needs, selected BitGravity, Inc., a global leader in online delivery, as its content delivery provider and then posted exclusive video of LeBron James getting dunked on by Xavier star Jordan Crawford. eBaum Nation's traffic immediately spiked after hitting the front page of Yahoo Sports, and Sports Illustrated, ESPN and Diggnation.

http://ebaumnation.com/2009/07/22/jordan-crawford-dunks-on-lebron-james

"Our exclusive video of LeBron 'getting dunked' is 100 times better than the cell phone video posted on TMZ and we knew we needed a more robust network to handle the traffic spike. We got the video at 3:00 PM today and quickly decided to partner with BitGravity. They got us up in less than an hour, and I know for a fact that no other CDN provider could have done that. BitGravity's support team and network are absolutely incredible," said Eric Bauman, CEO of eBaum Nation. "It's all about timing in our business and we aim to be the site that gets the video scoop. We realized we needed a partner like BitGravity with a phenomenal support team and network that could flawlessly handle huge traffic spikes. We would have missed this opportunity without BitGravity.

"One video can hit millions of viewers on the Internet in a matter of hours and companies without CDNs are ill-prepared. BitGravity's network was architected to be fast, scalable and to provision quickly, which enables us to better support our customers' viral videos. Time can mean money to user-generated video companies. Our goal is to enable customers to quickly take advantage of great opportunities and we're here to completely handle their content delivery so they can stay one step ahead of their competition," said Perry Wu, co-founder and CEO of BitGravity.

Looks like Andre Miller is going to Portland. They really needed a solid PG more than another frontcourt player. Roy should focus on scoring.

Is Odom re-signed yet?  Waiting sucks.. Hope it's not for nothing.

^ Ayos!  Kasado na ang LA.  8)

Si Boozer, saan kaya babagsak?  After Odom, he's the only player who matters in all the remaining off-season discussions.  Si Iverson din pala.  :P

Odom's decision was spot on. Now the Lakers are all geared up for another run at the title. Toughness issue? After knowing what it takes to win it all im sure may angas na Lakers this time around. They cant be bullied around anymore and if they do then they unleash Artest to strike back.

Never heard of an Artest-Odom rift. What I know is that they've been friends for a long time and being able to play with his friend on the same team was one of the things that made it easy for Ron to sign with the LAkers.

Oh, Bruce Bowen got waived by the Bucks. I wonder which team will sign him or if he goes back to San Antonio. Baka kunin ng Boston or Cleveland yang si Bruce kung hindi sya bumalik sa Spurs.
