Hi guys question naman, Im trying to upgrade to firmware 2.42. After downloading, extracting and saving to my usb flash drive, following the steps..it keeps giving me this message: Remove Space on your upgrade path or Decrease number of upgrade folder.

What am I doing wrong? Thanks

Help guys. Ive recently updated to 2.4.2 firmware thinking it would solve that annoying appearance of a [user font] directory on each of my 1 TB HDD whenever i boot up. I delete it and then it reappears the next time i do the cycle. The literature on xtreamer says it should have fixed this bug. Am I doing something wrong or this is normal? Thanks guys!

What's the ideal MBPS speed in order to stream HD content from Xtreamer Live? I upgraded my broadband speed from 1 to 2 MBPS yet it still stutters. Currently subscribed to Bayantel.

hi guys... just wanna ask on how to install the base/stand that was included on the package. I'm having a hard time inserting/sliding the peg in the hole. it seems like i'll break the base in two if i apply force.

I also installed an internal hdd and has been using it for two days but when i tried removing it from the xtreamer, it's somehow stuck and won't budge out.

TIA.

Its quite hard to slide the stand into the base of the Xtreamer. Be careful with the stand's tab as it can easily break. I was able to slide the stand after repeated attempts since I didnt want to force it.
Your internal hdd should be latched with the screw that came along with the cover. You may need to use a long-nose pliers to pry out the hdd.

Firmware Beta2.5 released to beta testers:

A new beta has been released to the testers today, it introduces the new Xtreamering option which holds all the community projects under one section:

1. “Xtreamering” menu added replacing “Movie Jukebox” .
- It contains almost all user created packages like Jukebox, xVoD, xLive, XTPhotos, Kartina TV, Rodno TV, Games etc along with online channels provided officially, News, weather and photo sharing sites
- “Xtreamering” is auto upgradeable online package
- Each sections which should run from HDD is auto downloadable.
- User can auto upgrade each section by just selecting that particular section and pressing “1” button, even you can upgrade “Xtreamering” package by selecting “Disclaimer” and pressing “1” from Remote control
- There is a section named “Online Upgrade” which also provides upgrade functionality along with Firmware upgrade
- As Xtreamering runs from HDD/USB (sda or sda1 partition), if no HDD/USB present it will auto redirect to “Internet” section (previous Internet menu)

2. “Internet Radio” moved to main menu replacing “Internet” section

anybody here tested the 3GB 720p 60fps pacquiao fight from magicpotatoes?

I have this copy on my external 2.5" hdd, but was stuttering.

When I copied the same file to my docked 3.5" hdd, it played without problems.  I suspect it was with the hdd speed?  5400rpm lang yata yung 2.5" hdd ko, 7200rpm yung 3.5".  puwede rin kasi usb powered lang yung 2.5", while the 3.5" dock had its own power supply...

Need your help guys. I saved toy story 3 into my external hdd. The problem is when i'm playing it, there is a certain point that it stops and start all over again from the beginning. The copy of the same movie in my computer is perfectly fine. Btw, it is the first movie that I saved in my external hdd because when i bought the xtreamer, the hdd was already loaded with movies.

Also, is it possible to make the movies full screen without losing quality?

Mga Masters newbie question lang

I upgraded my Xtreamer sa version 2.4.2 , then after few days I downloaded the Movie Jukebox then install it. I forgot to set to default settings after installing. The next day I went to movie jukebox , it ask me to download again (press 1) . Tried to press 1 and said no updates available. Di ko na sya uli ma-download

Another question , Do I need to be online to use the movie jukebox?

Thanks po !

Noob question...is configuring the Movie Jukebox a onetime-big-time thing? like say for example after configuring the jukebox with all my files and i decided to add another 1TB worth of data a week later, do I need to configure the whole thing all over again? like it will scrape for all of my files again?

how about all the files that I fine tuned before, will it be bypassed by the "new scraping cycle"?

Thanks! ;D

Guys, i was playing my .WAV files (average 50mb file size each)..
did you encounter having jerking during start of each file ?

I already upgraded the firmware to 2.5.2. but still the same.

Also, am using external harddisk - USB  connection (not built in HDD).

AFAIK, the Movie Jukebox is configured by going through all the files in your favorites folder. Suppose you add new data a week later, Movie Jukebox will re-scan the folders and detect which are the new additions. The older files will be skipped in the process. Installation is one-time, but updating with new data is a recurring activity.
