what do you think should i buy? a 37"LD460 or 32"LE5500? Picture quality lang naman habol ko hindi ko habol yung trumotion. What do you guys think?

does the contrast ratio really affect the pq?

you just answered your question

of course anything that affects the visual affects "picture quality." it's a different matter if you're sensitive/OC enough to notice.

rename mo lang yung .m2ts extension file mo ng .mp4 and the TV will recognize it... no change in quality and no need to convert

Aside from the very small (abt 5mm) black border (I'm not sure if it's normal) on the side, it's in perfect tip top shape. I hope the problem won't recur.

Check yours and call their hotline in case yours accumulate dust. I hope it's not a design flaw so that chances of recurring would be nil.

My 37LD460 bought Sept. 10, 2010 from SnS got the same problem. Called their hotline last night and report the problem. Whoaaa! late this afternoon 2 LG tech came knocking and after checking the smear on the panel one of them went to their service car and get a brand new replacement panel. and after about 20 mins. Its done. Wow!!! Talked about after sales services...I'm really impressed. in less than 24 hrs. my Lcd got fixed right in the comfort of my home. from now on its only LG for me.

Mga sirs, napapansin nyo ba kung nagfi-flicker yung screen nyo minsan? Yung sakin kasi ganun though madalang lang saka saglit lang pero napapansin ko yung magiging black yung screen. At first, I thought it was a problem with my Wii or its cable kase dun ko lang unang napapansin (kala tuloy ng kalaro ko dinadaya ko sya pag turn nya hehe) Pero kanina nung nanonood ako sa HTIB ko nag flicker din. Meron na din parang dust sa upper right hand corner pero tolerable pa naman. Papaservican ko na ba sa LG 'to? Hanggang September pa ang warranty niya. TIA!

guys i have a 42LD460..pashare naman ng mga settings nyo.. yung 'inner' option hindi ko makita dun sa picture menu ko eh.. gusto ko pa naman matest yung pure white background.. thanks!

pinalitan agad nila yun buong panel.. good job by LG but my question is how do i know if bago

Guys, since yung TV natin eh di makapag-play ng DTS formated movies, meron ba kayo ma-recommend na pang-convert/software ng audio na hindi (or minimal) mababago yung video quality?

Guys, meron ba sa inyo naka experience ng vibrating noise or sound pag medyo bassy na yung scene? Not all the time tumutunog siya. Parang may loose part or something, then pag hinahawakan ko yung TV during that scene nawawala naman.

Ano kaya problem dito?

in my case panel ang pinalitan. according to the tech bnew naman daw yun panel..

madalas yata tong mangyari kasi pag dating nila meron na agad dalang panel for replacement.

pwede kaya iupgrade sa ibang model tong unit?

I experienced this too. I didn't try holding the TV though.

Is the plastic protector still attached on the tv? We tried removing it and it seem to have helped.

Yes, the plastic film is already removed. However, the bass rattle doesn't happen too often. I guess only certain frequencies cause it.

Sir ask ko lang if may naka experience na nun napuputol na sound via optical to LG HT. Meaning for a certain period mawawala audio for a few seconds then balik sa normal. Intermittent minsan ok minsan nawawala pero pag nawala cguro mga every 10 to 15 mins nag cycle un pagkawala ng audio? Ano kaya problem unit kaya? tia

im experiencing this too!! im still trying observe when/how it happens, it's hard to complain if i cant show it to them.

mine's not limited to the optical, i experience this even though im playing an audio cd.

kapag ni-replace yung panel because of the dust issue, pwede pa bang ipa-replace ulit yun later on kapag bumalik yung dust basta within the warranty period pa rin?

Question for LG HTIB users. If you connect your HTIB via optical and play MKVs using the built in media player, audio of the video is 5.1 aac or ac3 would it output 5.1 surround in the speakers? Or 2.1 only virtual surround?

if the tv can decode the 5.1, it'll output 5.1 via optical, which can be read by the HT.

ld460 can decode dolby 5.1 only (ac3).

Guys meron ba gumagamit ng HP Simple Save 320gb/500gb/1tb/2tb as hard disk sa LCD tv with built in media player? Kamusta ang performance nababasa ba siya, specifically with LG LCD tvs.

Good PM. Patulong naman mga gurus. Naranasan niyo na bang manood ng movie kung saan kapag bright/light yung eksena, noisy yung image while kapag dark matino naman?

The source is from external drive connected to Kaiboer media player. The resolution is only 1920 x 800 though.

As for setting, sinunod ko naman yung recommended settings sa menu like black level, white level and all but still nothing changed. Could it be a 'TV setting' issue? TIA.

lately, di nangyayari. my wild guess is power source, baka pangit mismo feed ng meralco (aka fluctuating). baka sensitive enough yung htib na nabibitin sya ng kuryente kaya temporarily nawawala yung sound.

Sir verify ko lang if you are using external media player or you are using the built in player via usb of TV . . .TIA

ganyan din sa unit ko minsan 2 staright movies wala tapos biglang lalabas . . . sunod sunod na yun tapos pag nawala matagal na uli bago labas . . .
