thanks for the advice sir.. i just cant give up the audio quality and sweet sound of my hi-fi system.. for me an AV receiver just cant match the quality of an integrated stereo amp. and a dvd player just cant match the sweetness of a dedicated CDP when it comes to pure audio applications. I guess I just have to find a way to make the two set ups sound well together..

about the subs. I know one is enough.... but..... when it comes to this hobby, i guess enough isn't really enough ryt?!

and besides, i have those subs just lying around collecting dust, i might as well put them into good use..

im planning of putting some of them under the bed.. and if they prove to be a little too much, a storage room is waiting for them.. lol

here are some pics as i tried to fit them all in the room. (a different room but with the same dimensions with the one i am renovating) a DIY LCD stand really helped to save some space...

as for the avr, integ.amp, cdp and dvdp, they would be placed in an in-wall shelf which is still under construction..

and the subs, the would be put on a sealed enclosure which is also still under construction, i just got a little exited and tried to use them without an enclosure..
