although revilla has just completed his fourth playing year, he has already earned a bachelor's degree. he's taking ma in education, i think. from what i recall, athletes who are in graduate school, or those studying for a second degree, are eligible to play for only one year, regardless if the student has previously played in a varsity league or not.
in buenafe's case, he had to sit out because of academic deficiencies. from what i recall, players have five playing years within seven years.
