The circuit composes of there stages: Sovtek 12AX7LPS (ECC83) as the first SRPP stage, followed by Shuguang 6N8P (6SN7) driver stage with Shuguang 6P3P (6L6GC/KT66/5881) as the final power stage in class push pull class AB configuration

the last time i heard it ... parang nabibilaukan at sinasakal ng magandang babae amp mo... di makahiyaw ng husto!!  ;D ;D

pero kaw pa senyor hans, palagay ko ayuz na ayuz na yan at magaling nang kumanta amp mo ... after it was sent back to barracks...  >:D

OO nga meron sakal last time pero kahit tangal na bara eh wala match sa Branded amp..  ;D ;D ;D ;D

dapat sir, generic tube CDP na rin gamitin mong source para match na match  >:D

Generic cdp ok yan basta kasing level ng Consonance or Flagship ang tunog >:D >:D pero kung MID level sound lang bka SURplus CDP na lang ako.. ;D ;D

Posting this in case it might be of interest to some.

P22 for P20 pieces of SANYO OSCON at Deeco Raon (the one nearest to Alexan). Value is 47uf 6.3 volts ideal as bypass caps/decoupling caps for DACs. This is considered a SCREAMING bargain as one piece sells for P72 at Farnell. I think these are the SC-SA series and not the SG ones but still considered the optimum caps for digital.

Look Ma no opamps! My NAD now uses a different DAC and no opamps in the output stage. Problem now is how I'm going to mount this inside the chassis. DAC is TDA1545 using passive I/V conversion (thanks to Yeo of diyparadise for the circuit).

No I made my own point to point. But unlike YEO's KIT, mine uses my CD's internal receiver (CXD3017Q) instead of CS8412 so this is not an external DAC--this just bypasses my cd's factory DAC and ouput stage. I just tapped the signal and clock pins of the receiver and routed that to the 1543. I'm happy enough with the outcome that this will be my default from now.

Jeez I am a slow today.

No you can't find the TDA1545 or TDA1543 in RS or farnell because its no longer in production--but guess where? RAON! What's amazing is that at diyaudio people are always asking where to find TDA1541A and they go to great lenghts to get one but in Raon there's lots of them.  Even got my TDA1541A from two stores in Cavite. But I can't get CS8412 anywhere although you can use CS8414 from Newark but this is SOIC.

The Nichicon muse caps and OS-CONS I got from Raon too at dirt cheap prices. ;D ;D ;D

HI wanderlust,

As before? This is my first time to do it.

Ang unang impression ko laid-back yung sound. Smooth naman and detailed yung highs. Ang strength talaga nasa midrange like yung piano fuller. Pero parang a little lacking in dynamics (compared to my nad's factory dac and opamp stage) and bass resonance. So experiment pa ko muna. I'll do another version using TDA1541A but this will use an opamp output stage. Will make a comparison then choose. Pero if you ask me what I want to retain--this or my cd's factory dac---dito ko ngayon.

Garp!

Since we are into caps boot-camp, meron ako design na ginagawa for stretching caps.  ;D It uses an LM555 as a pulse source, a power transistor as a switch and a hi wattage resistor as discharge load.

Parang rjm's Cap-Rack din pero synched charge and discharge cycle. Hehehe, hope it works.  ;D ;D ;D
