does anybody know anyone from warner home video? ive been looking for dvd copies of
whatever happened to baby jane (bette davis) and butterfield 8 (liz taylor) to no avail. i used to have a r3 dvd copy of baby jane but sold it (wrong decision!!!!), but now i want to buy another copy. is warber ever gonna release them again locally?

I bought a copy earlier today, its a single disc. I can no longer resist because it was priced Php299. The last time I saw it was priced Php350 in Astro SM North

I saw 2 new additional titles to the P350 presyong sulit dvds - One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest and... well, i forgot the title of the other one... sheesh!

$:-\$ but anyway, i hope they add more titles to this P350 presyong sulit sale. sulit talaga! i go for these rather the P299 watered down dvds.

Iron Giant SE is now only 299

Saw lots of copies in Tower Records Shangri-la. Pwede ka pa mamili what type of packaging you want. They have both the amaray-like ones and the snappers.

It seems Warner has a new markdown. Almost all single disc titles are now P299 (including Matrix, Swordfish, Shawshank Redemption, etc). The 2-disc titles including Matrix Reloaded and Revolutions, Harry Potter DVDs, Las Samurai, etc) are now down to P475. The Band of Brothers tin case is now P1950. I thought it was just because of the Galleria sale, but I saw the same prices at Festival mall in Alabang.

So it seems this new pricing is nationwide? Firewired, please confirm.

just been to festival mall. noticed that too. i actually bought east of eden(2disc) for 299

i was told it is a nationwide anniversary sale (?) for Warner and is good until the end of the month. i was shown a 5 or 6-page list of marked-down Warner titles. i got Taking Lives Directors Cut for 299.

Yup. All the Friends box sets up to Season 6 should be down to Php950 as well. I was told about this but my contact was on medical leave last week so they weren't able to confirm lists. I'll get the the breakdown tomorrow and start a new thread.

maybe your contact would have news on season 1 of The West Wing. since the sale started i've been looking for this and have been unsuccessful until now. i'm wondering if warner still has this in stock.

yung harry potter DVDs, parehong pareho ba dun sa mga naunang lumabas yung discs and casing? gusto ko sanang bumili ulit, puro gasgas na yung discs ng akin sa kakapanood ng anak ko.

In the meantime, best buy for this sale seems to be the 2-disc East of Eden SE (James Dean in an Elia Kazan film) which inexplicably dropped from Php695 to Php299.

Fyi saw a copy sa Tower SM North this one has the Warner Sulit sale sticker na 299. Fyi

But different casing don't know lang which is better. But was very happy when I viewed the movie together with my wife and kids

the regular edition and the special edition are both in snap case (though the special edtion, also has its keepcase counterpart). Bought mine in videocity ATC for 299. (Special Edtion - Snap case)

They have to stop all these DVDs on sale! I couldnt control myself from buyiiiing!!!

i was at sm north edsa last night. inside the dept store, most titles cost 299 (before sunrise, etc.). at astroplus at the carpark, some 299 titles are 375. i bought streisand's what's up doc and ingrid bergman's gaslight (375 each). the 2-disc dvds (singin in the rain, etc) are now 475 each. they said this will last til end of october.

need more money now grrrrrr

i got Quest for Camelot animated movie in snap case for 299. its underrated! King Arthur voiced by Pierce Brosnan, the bad guy by Gary Oldman and songs by Celine Dion and the Corrs.

I also have one. bought last sunday night at festival mall. nagiisa na nga lang siya. Feeling ko super old stock na ito, kasi may kasama pang mga chinese import stickers from hong kong (era video).

And pingatapaltapal na ung mga nakaraang mga promo prices ng warner from 595 to buy one take one promo to 350 chrismas sale, back to 595, to 350 again and finally 299. Its a flipper, the special features are on side b.
