I also would manually fine tune my speakers using SPL meter after audyssey calibration just to make sure.  YMMV, for me if I turn on the dynamic volume I only use Light mode. If you can audition an audyssey xt32 model mas maraming options to tweak the speakers

Hi everyone, naka avr-2310 ako connected thru toslink cable from my macmini. Fronts left and right lang ang speakers. Question, pag nanonood ako ng movies wala akong marinig na dialogue sa left and right speakers ko. Pag select ko yung pure direct, 5.1 yung nakikita ko sa screen ng avr. So papano ko ma-force na 2.0 lang dun sa remote?

(Bigay lang kse sakn tong receiver).

Thanks everyone..

since 2.0 speaker set up gamit mo, you need to configure your AVR na FRONTs left & right speakers lang nkakabit sa kanya.

baka kasi 5.1 yung current na settings niya. Also try STEREO mode instead of DIRECT.

Menu/setup speaker settings select NONE for the other speakers and sub. This will force all audio to go to your fronts regardless of source. Setting it in STEREO works too but you can't play around with DSP settings if you're into that.

Has anyone bought a receiver from Accessories4Less? Thinking of getting a Denon from there and brought here via LBC Shipping Cart. Reddit seems to like them, but would also like some local input.

i just checked Denon avr-x3400h at Accessories4Less. only 1 searched item came up.  it's 549USD (item condition: refurbished)

also checked Denon avr-x3400h at Amazon.  several searched items came up.  1 for 599USD (item condition: new) and another 1  for 549USD (item condition: refurbished).  I think both Accessories4Less & Amazon may have the same stores as source.

You mind sharing how much you got your Denon for from Listening Room? I'll probably drop by their store over the next few days just so I know my options before making a possible purchase.

baka ang gusto kasi ni sir @leon21 are refurbished gears-- as these are what usually available from A4L, thus the name implies "4less".  though I found that Amazon do sell refurbished items as well.  I think, there's more peace of mind with Amazon.

going with brand new/sealed is better it budget permits.  and best if locally purchased so that you'd have a working warranty.  mas mahal lang talaga dito sa PH.  kaya I find the people living in the US, swerte sa mga ganitong gears =))

Of course brand new is better, but I'd prefer to spend less if I can. And yes, I find us so unlucky that these items usually cost 2x more for us compared to our American/Canadian neighbours.

Got it for 30K with 6months local warranty only. My old Yamaha still kicking, but I need to upgrade for Dolby Atmos and other cool features for today's technology, like  I can voice control my Denon thru Alexa and Google Assistant. When all things set-up, the included remote is barely use.

BTW....I only shop online abroad, when the item is not locally available.

Hi guys question naman. I have a denon 2400. Im wondering if i can play 2 display unit with this. Meaning one sa tv and one sa pj.

My connection is zidoo to denon to my sony tv. Im already using one of the hdmi out sa denon. Can i use the other hdmi out to connect to my projector? That way i can also enjoy movie sounds pag watching pj ko. I have a onkyo 608 on standby just in case i have to use it for my pj setup. Pero using same speakers connected to denon.

What are my options?
Help pls. Thanks.

That's the purpose of it, you can connect two displays simultaneously. But AFAIK, only one has an audio out and the other hdmi output is merely for monitor display only, meaning NO audio out.

Ok thanks. I will try it out. Darn kasi meron ako conflict sa hdmi splitter ko. If not problem solved. Ty

Nangyari din sa akin yan sa dati kong Yamaha, tried different trouble shoot on the avr, pero sa speaker pala mismo nag loose connection inside. Just try swaping your speakers.

Hi sir sinnedycate,

Just want to ask if your FR and SR speakers has an untreated (No Acoustic treatment) wall on its right side? I had the same experience na mahina yung FR speaker ko and both my FR and SR has a wall on the right. I isolated the issue by swapping the speakers and still same result, Mahina yung sa speaker that I connected to the FR. I thought that my brandnew denon receiver is broken as both speakers i tried gives the same result. I then tried to hook both of my front speakers to a stereo receiver and to my surprise they sounded the same. I then tried to play with my speaker position to see if the wall has a big effect. I re-ran the speaker calibration and this time I placed the FR and SR speakers 2 feet away from the calibration mic. The results have changed and got a -8 for the FR and -9 for the SR. I then tried to play a movie (Transformer: the dark moon) and to my surprise malakas ang tunog ng FR and SR ko. I hope this helps po.

I have Denon avr-x1400h.

Both AV receivers have the same number of channels of 7 and the Denon AVR-X1400H has a lower RMS power (80) compared to

the Denon AVR-X2400H which has RMS power (95). The Denon AVR-X1400H and the Denon AVR-X2400H have the same total

harmonic distortion of 0.08 %. Moreover, the Denon AVR-X1400H and the Denon AVR-X2400H both have a minimum

impedance of 4 ohms.

To my ears, maganda cya sa movies and merely bought it just for the atmos. but for the music mas preferred ko yung old

Yahama ko. Pero X-1400h and X-2400h are loaded with the latest features, easy to controlled by Alexa by Heos connect.

try to solve muna by deductions, anything you can replace try & see. HTH

sealed yung plug sir eh, so walang fuse.  di rin replaceable.  nagaalangan naman ako palitan ung plug ng basta basta lang din

in that case plug it in, turn it on then move either ends to where the plug/ socket goes to the wire. move it @ 90 degree angle @ 12/6/3/9 oClock & see what happens.

maybe something like this ba, otherwise baka other electronics or MCU failure

Di siya plug sir. It cycles on and off on its own talaga, nagkataon lang na i was holding the plug. Googled it and common fault ng Denon. Dalhin ko na lang service center

^so dinala ko unit sa service center. Wala na daw piyesa ang receiver ko. It's almost 4 years old, model released late 2012 or early 2013. Ganun ba talaga na ngayon? After a certain point disposable na receivers natin?

awts! yun na nga MCU or other electronics sya, tanungin mo sana kung anong parts yung sira baka meron pang makuha dito sa china.

or Module board kaya, ganon na ngayon di gaya noon hinihimay yung buong PCB para itrouble shoot, ngayon palit module nalang sila.
