Wow bilis ah! Kakabigay ko lang sayo mobile # ni Sir Vic may pareserve na agad na 32av500!  Congrats in advance on your purchase! =)

You might want to inquire their 37" LCDs.  When I bought my LCD at Sights and Sounds, plano ko 32" lang.. pero when Sir Vic offered the 37" with a price that is hard to refuse, Toshiba 37" ang binili ko :-).

Hey, thanks GioSpike for referrals. By the way, we now have Novatron HD Media Box with wifi feature. You may wish to take a look at it on demo at our shop.

Just purchased a CV500 from sights and sound and I think it really has the best pic quality for the ps3(main reason why I got the unit), The Panasonic, also from Sights and sound, however runs pass this unit in terms of DVD/Blu-Ray quality.

SPECIAL MENTION TOWARDS THE SERVICES OF SIGHTS AND SOUNDS

Vic, has probably the best service, beating your average retail chain store, If I compare this guy's service to an HDTV allow me to say this much. He has the quickest response time and a blur free after sales service(everything is clear, nothing hidden). Allow me to add that the guy delivers the deepest blacks I've seen in this kind of business.

Thanks vic!

Hello Vic,

please send me a pm or sms regarding a FULL HD Toshiba, if there is one available already!

Thank you.

Btw, per your post about the CV500 - it has a 9ms response time but according to some staff members, they said that both the AV500 and the CV500 has an 8ms response time. Not the biggest deal in the world, I don't play FPS games or Racing games for that matter, just need clarification. I really like the picture quality of Toshiba and plan to replace the remaining Samsung LCD's in our house. 37 and 32 inch R8 models, I guess my ps3 swinging sister is also convinced now.

Regards,
Carlo

The Toshiba's color will remind you or should I say is very similar to the 32 inch LCD panels used on high end LCD based arcade systems in Japan. Rich and accurate without being too overbearing, I purchased a 32CV500 to compare it to my older 37 and 32 inch Samsung R8 models. It's not that high selling Sammy had a bad pq, it was just way to bright for my eyes. If you want something more aggressive in terms of color but won't blaze your eye, you could also try Panasonic. Both brands are available at Sights and Sounds(forumer e-reply/vic runs the place, shoot him with a private message) and purchases from them are backed by an impeccable after sales service.

By the way, played my ps3 on my old 37R8(Samsung),The newer LE8 and LX80(Panasonic), and it came down to me choosing the Toshiba as the docking bay for my ps3 for the reason stated above.

Good hunting!

sir carlo,

are you the brother of eliza of pinoyps?

Yes, fortunately or unfortunately depending on how you look at it :) Been guiding her through all the numerous and almost eye racking pq quest. From R81 to LE8 to LX80 and now the CZ500. Pinoyps is very informative but the newer games are way out of my league. Hindi na ako maka-relate pang old school games lang ako.

@e-reply

Looking forward to another round of Toshiba, this time let's go FULL HD already or the other units you recommended per our phone conversation. I'm happy with the purchase at least we're on the right direction this time! I'll be sending Eliza and my guy over to view your proposed models.

Regards.

Toshiba LCD TV reveals PC text detailed and clear.  It is best for HTPC. Check out the thread posted at Toshiba New Models Available at Sights and Sounds.

Saw this unit at S&S while I was auditioning for a plasma. Found myself spending more time staring at this than the plasmas. My mind says "be intelligent and stick with plasma!" but my eyes says otherwise. Then found out its a full hd.  :o Now that got my attention. Then found out about its price. Now I can't get it off my mind. This lcd has definitely got my vote!   ;) You guys should check it out.

Although on manual specs it says up to 1080i, this 32AV500 works with 1080p when we tested it at our showroom with DVD player upscale to 1080p. It did not turn into black screen at 1080p.

The 46X3500 can compete with plasma TV in rich color, deep black contrast, and good motion flow. It's a value for money if you are into big size, full hd, and LCD TV.

And to think this has only 3inch difference with the 50 inch plasmas. I did an actual measurement coz i always have my tape meter with me. The 46" Tosh has an accurate 46inch measurement while the 50 inch plasma has 49 inch only.  ;D ;D

Ordered a second Toshiba unit from Vic of SnS, a testament of how happy we are with the unit!

You should really see the way this T.V defines color.
