Nagpagawa ako ng SW Cable sa Listening Room. Choose Monster Plug at Php 150.00/each and the RG6 Cable at Php 80.00/meter.

Libre pakabit. Before, I was using Cheap RAC Plug for my US Audio 8". IHMO, ang laki ng improvement sa sound. It's really worth the money, since I woke up the power of the SUB.

for the rca plugs you may try sights n sounds at shangrila mall... last time i check the monster plugs cost around P130+ pair already... also, try to visit stores at raon... i'm sure you can get a better price there...

I went to phasetron in parksquare 1 and was able to buy some rca plugs and cables. Are quantum cables good?

I'll try to visit shang and some stores in raon.

had a spare time this weekend. went to a local electronics and hardware shop and got rca splitter and a couple of gold-plated rca connectors. had a spare of belden rg6 coax. got my soldering iron and assembled my DIY sub y connector. y-connector is sold at psquare for 250php and 180php. mine costs me 168php but satisfaction felt was priceless =). well, i know that any interconnect is as good as its weakest link. my cheapo rca splitter could be it but nonetheless, the fun alone was worth the time and effort.

bro doodZ, you can use a belden rg6 cable... nasa P25/meter lang sa true value... then buy a good rca plug (monster, quantum, etc... nasa P130 pair)... pa solder mo lang then you already have a good subwoofer cable.

thanks for the great tip mcbry! kaso nga lang, sino namang self-respecting audio store ang papayag mag-solder ng mamahaling rca plug nila kung alam nilang sa labas ko binili yung cable itself? i'll probably buy sa true value sa parksquare. sana may mabait sa mga stores dun.

ang hirap palang isolder nung belden rg6 cables sa rca . . . solid at mataba kc yung gitna nung cable (unlike oridinary stranded cables) . . . nagloloose din kc siya, any expert suggestion on how to solder them properly?

Pag magpapagawa ka ba ng subwoofer cable do you need to list down yung details ng subwoofer mo like watts, voltage, impedence? Kasi baka pag nagpagawa ako then pag connect ko sa HT masira or something. TIA.

Mga bosing, Ok din ba digital coax for subwoofer? Tapos monster rca plug? It cost P300. Rubber sya na mataba parang sa microphone. Saw one at park square1, forgot the store name but its between audio by design store and ambasador.

Yes, you can use digital coax cables. I have a suggestion for you, visit Audiophile at Alimall and look for Mark.

Ask him about liberty coax cables and gold plated liberty rca plugs. Maganda ang shielding and solderless pa kaya mas madaling magpagawa. Comparable ang Liberty sa Belden and Canare cables.

RG6 coax costs P60/1m (I used this for my component cables) while rg59 P50/1m (I used this for my s/w). A pair of gold plated rca plugs costs 145. Libre na ang assembly since madali lang naman. May discount pa pag cash basis.

my new subwoofer cable (from listening room) gave my powered sub (US AUDIO 508A) a big boost!! Naging masmalakas talaga. I even had to turn down the volume a little

Im now using a Quantum Cable (P80/meter) with Audio Pro Plugs (P200/each).

Parang nataga ako sa Plugs after seeing the prices here.

pero ok talaga sila in terms of quality and added performance

Finally had the chance to have my SW cables assembled. Got Belden RG-6/U from Sight & Sounds at P25.15/m, then 5 pairs of Monster RCA plugs at P150/pair from Phasetron, where I had my cables assembled. With a bunch of Y-splitters, I finally had the AVR-sub-out-split-to-bass-shaker-amp-and-sub-which-in-turn-are-both-split-again-for-left-and-right-channels setup.

Belden is a little difficult to bend pala, but that only goes to show the high build quality.

I bought 4meters RG6(belden 9116 duabond II,eto ata model) from true value yesterday 26.75/mtr. for my sub and also bought 1pair goldsnake plugs for 190 at phasetron and have them solder it for me.but i paid them 50 for service fee(labor charge)

not sure lang parang mahal ata yung plugs na binigay sa akin,wala na kasi ata ibang plugs na kakasya e or available sa kanila.pero anyway im happy naman

hindi pala na-hinang yung silver na part kasi silver daw e(di ko lang alam talaga kung di ba talaga naso-solder yun? yung pinakanagko-connect lang daw.) any comment/advice on this po mga sir?

by the way guys, where and what y adaptor na ok (generic lang po). i've checked truevalue and the DIY shop.wala sila dun nung tig 50+ lang.wala din sa ace hardware.meron sa DIY shop pero 1.5 meter 59pesos lang ata.mahaba namn sobra. what brand pa po ba yung ok kahit mga 100 to 250 lang po? any suggestion po? and does it make difference?(the 56-59pesos and yung mga puresonic and other brand na goes from150 to 250 pesos? )
