Matz thank you for the impressive HT experience last week when i visited your current setup. Your double chocolate flavored ice cream is equally impressive as well! Your mission speaker set is very very good indeed although at times it will become just a little bright than usual and the emphasis to sound details is a little bit off comparing to the original source but that's just me. Overall pare with the amount you've spent in that setup, it's truly one of the best bang for the buck setup! And what you did to your HT room is truly an amazing achievement! All i can say pare is you've really outdone yourself! Thanks again for the wonderful time!
You are welcome, its actually "triple chocolate madness" and we always try to have one sa ref since its a limited edition. (parang DVD)
Bilib talaga ako sa ears mo, very sharp for someone who is just starting this hobby. Pwede ka na for audio & HT reviewer!
The brightness can be tamed by room acoutics or cables, but for now it suits my listening taste just perfectly. Truth is, I even want it a bit brighter. I tried using more laid back cables to counter this before, but ricky complained that many details were missing in one of his visits.
If you found the system a bit bright, you might not like the sound of your planned dual Rotel Bi-amp for your future setup then. I tried this with my Rotels and the effect was even much brighter than what you heard at my place. For me, it was awesomely detailed for HT (I liked it) but very tiring in music. And regarding the sound details, like I told you, each AVR/processor has its own way of processing details. In the end, its all a matter of personal preference.
Hehe ganyan talaga pang wala masyadong "buck", kelangan ng "bang for the buck" setup para sulit bawa't labas ng buck
Remember, after your gears, your room is the other 50% of your experience. So make sure you plan on it.
It was a pleasure giving you my recommendations and advice, including love advice
...wala pa tayong beer nyan ha, LOL.
Hope to see you again soon!
