what's the SRP of the 705?  is it $800 or $900?

sa Circuit City its US$ 719.99  this is not the cheapest place to get your electronic products but at this price if you directly convert to Peso ok na din diba 

If you guys can reach a quantity of 10 confirmed people buying the 705 (must be one model only so they can get wholesale price), maybe Jeff of theater works can bring us this item at reasonable price.

The last time I talked to Jeff, he said he can sell it at US SRP. but he needs at least 10 pcs so he could get a wholesale price.

Mga sirs, anu ba power requirement nitong Onkyo 705, 110Volts or autovolt?  Ask ko lang, kasi I'm torn between Onk705 and Yamy1800.   

Kung 110V lang ang Onk705, my decision will be easier, handsdown nako sa Yamy1800.

Is Yammy 1800 autovolt?

The Yammy 1800 is not autovolt, but its "multi-volt" wherein you can adjust the voltage via selector switch at the back of the unit. 

Guys, I cannot participate anymore in this group buy. I already took the plunge in upgrading my receiver, I just bought today a brand new old stock Yamaha RX-V1400!!  In fact, I am now selling my old Yammy RX-V550 for 8.5K in the Buy & Sell section.

yup I am pretty sure dadami pa ang may gusto ng receiver na ito na ayaw pa magpalista, medyo wait and see lang siguro sa pricing, timing and some other factors  hopefully magkaroon ng mega sale nito sa HK para maka kuha si Jeff/Theaterworks.

i would really want to purchase sana soon if only available and the price is right. i am thinking also of ordering it from a relative sa US and have it shipped here. Yun nga lang yung US$ 70 shipment from East Coast will take 45 days to arrive    or paturo ako kay sir allen paano umorder sa net. he he he haven't tried ordering online pa

don't be surprise kung ang price niyan would be a lot lot more expensive pagdating sa Phil. look at the LCD/Plasma, sa net its a lot cheaper in the US than here. Buti na lang at mayron independent dealers na nagbibigay sa atin ng competitive price (like Theaterworks and the likes).

yup I agree let's all hope na reasonable ang price  There are still several others if you review the previous pages ng thread na seems interested na hindi pa nagpalista so if  everything goes well I don't see any reason na mahirapan tayo maka 10

I think popping issue is mostly with the 805. the most common complaint I am seeing in the forums is the delay in audio (or is it video?) when used in HDMI. Some people are having problems specially with games because sound and vision is not in sync. They say it's not as big a problem in movies, but I guess different people have different tolerance with these kinds of things. Btw still no news from nemesis...
