Dahil sa bagyo, the UAAP will make an announcement tomorrow morning if the game will be postponed. If it gets postponed, sa Oct. 16 na daw lalaruin yung Game 3.

Great game but a really painful one for UST especially for Pido and Jeric Teng.

Pido lived and died with Mariano. He made 2 FTs to force OT then he threw the ball away to give La Salle the lead. Bad decision by Pido to leave him in the game. It most likely cost them the championship.

Like I've predicted, DLSU is the safe bet to win, since it's brimming with great guard-play ..... while UST shallow and shaky.

Mariano completely went 180 degrees this season ...... he was a revelation last year, but was iffy (and injured) this season.

Also, except for Torres, I didn't expect DLSU bigs to contribute much this season ...... AVO had a breakout season - should serve him well in the future.

I'd like to make mention of the spotty job by the refs, but that's for another time.

Always a great series when these two teams meet in the Finals ..... Bal David, Henry Ong & Dale Singson would not have approved of this year's ending though.

Congrats DLSU! I would have liked UST to win this championship because it's Jeric's last year and DLSU seem to have a bright future with the core intact for the next few years. But that Kevin Ferrer and his dirty plays is really hard to like.

Jeron Teng: When the buzzer sounded I didn't know how to feel. My brother gave his all. For me, he deserved to be MVP. #UAAP76Finals

Jeron has my respect for keeping his humility and thinking first of his Kuya, despite the big team win...

This is why I admired the Teng brothers after the game, they have mutual respect for one another. Jeron was humble enough to acknowledge his brother's effort to win but it fell short. He said he was even more deserving to be the MVP. I'm glad it was UST and La Salle who went into the finals because it could have gone either way. It was a good spin by the UAAP about the Teng brothers otherwise it would be a boring season.
