The acoustic treatment behind the fabric would help with room response and sound proofing...
You might want to consider also the material being used by "Erwin Allen" with his acoustic panels because it is health and eco friendly unlike rockwool and fiberglass... I think it is called Cellulose Fiber Insulator

Hi Louie,
Thanks for putting me on to Erwin, I've been in contact & we shall be doing business. As I'll be needing around 56 acoustic panels I'll be hanging them on the walls for the time being & when I'm confident I've got it right I'll consider an upgrade to make the room prettier & more WAF

Hi all, you & your family's have a great New Year, may it be very prosperous.
I will be a little quiet for a while as we lost our phone & internet on Dec 11th. Globe have a systems problem in our area & cannot track down the cause so no ETA for repair. I've bought a Tattoo mobile device but it's useless, so slow I can only access the internet sporadically.
I have a couple update photos which I'll try & post in the next couple of days.

Having had no phone or internet has allowed be to spend quite a bit of time at the site. The 2nd floor concrete has been poured & the underfloor supports will be removed next week I'll have some better pictures of the HT room. Until then a couple of photo's I took on Jan 15th.

The build is accelerating now but we're still a month behind. They've started on the lower ground floor roof & will probably start inside the main section of the house week after next. The HT room will be the 1st to be completed so I can start work.
I've decided to cover the walls in fabric but not at this time. Once I'm happy with the room acoustics I'll do a room upgrade. Selecting colours is my main headache, I will be having acoustic panels in the living room so trying to decide the wall colours so I can select the panel fabric then I can get all the panels made at the same time.
Yes getting excited, just heard my container arrives in Cebu on Feb 20th. I may have to break out some gear

That was also my priority when I renovated the house. Whatever was left was for the guest and kids room.

As its a new house build I'm looking at CCTV systems. I already have electronic door locks coming from the UK but saw a fingerprint activated one the other day so may try that. At the end of the day the determined professional thief will always get in but make it hard & it deters the casual one.
BTW the enthusiasm on this forum never ceases to amaze me.
