Ang theory sa ultra high frequency is you may not hear it but the brain perceives it. It aids you yo locate the sound source. It suggests that it enhances your imaging.
I can relate to the theory because when I added supertweeters my experience was about presence and immediacy rather than the obvious metallic enhancements.
That was actually the point of the whole study that we conducted. I'm not privy to post any numbers but the idea of doing the experiments was to evaluate the viability of the driver designs to extend well beyond ultrasonics since the application is intended more into full range drivers (may require subsonic reinforcement from a sub) and so the requirements for the driver design to go beyond human hearing was fundamental and finding if any driver re-design was needed.
I was so happy with the results because when it was all over, I told him that my actual application was to apply the chr70 as a super tweeter rather than a full range driver. MA's line of drivers are truly bang for the buck series for FR users.
Sir Jojo, i was basing it from the feedback of MA users online. Some even say that the 7.3 is a real "audiophile" driver, for it's small size though it would require help from a sub. It's also one of the most recommended 4" driver (in diyaudio) enclosed in these boxes:
Variety is always welcome and encouraged sir deist, especially on an economical point of view.
That is one helluva beauty!
