The dealer that was there once sells JBL & Infinity speakers. The store was much like Acoustical Space in Megamall & sells the same stuff. No wharfes.

Sir Matz, since there will be a midnight sale sa Mega and Shang kasabay ng Podium Sale, saan ba magandang bumili ng branded entry level na AVR who also carries wharfedales?

How much discount can I expect from these types of sales for the AVR and the speakers.

Try Listening Room but I dont think that the difference will be noteworthy. Wharfedales give a very tiny profit margin to their dealers so I doubt that a sale at Mega would really yield you a good bargain.

Just passed by Astroplus Podium. The sale is on!
ALMOST ALL Magnavision titles are down to P375. This includes the more recent releases such as Stepford Wives, Kung Fu Hustle, Big Fish, etc. Some noteworthy 2-disc releases such as Lawrence of Arabia, Glory, and Jerry Maguire are also included. All superbit titles are P475. I also saw Spidey 2 at P475. The Indiana Jones DVDs are being sold individually at P375. The DTS collector's edition versions of the Tom Clancy series (Red October, Patriot Games, Clear and Present Danger) are also at P375. Just make sure you look at the disc because there are 2 versions of the Tom Clancy DVDs (The non-DTS and the DTS).

By Friday, these titles will most likely be down to P333. But if you can't make it over the weekend, you can pass by within the week and grab these at P375. Not that much difference unless you're buying in bulk.

Moreover, every P1000 worth of receipts at Podium entitles one to a raffle coupon, top prizes are the Trip for 2 to Paris, and a BMW.

Sadly, Warner DVDs are in fact back up to P595/P695/P895, except for the selected titles at P299 and P350 which are the same titles on sale nationwide. Baka magbago by Friday.

Di ko napansin yung Jack Ryan boxset. I think it would be better to purchase individually. Yung Indiana Jones Trilogy P3200, but the individual discs are P375 each, same lang naman content.

This is good news...Tamang tama for the holiday season. Need to stock on movies to watch while on vacation. Am personally looking forward to a few titles only. I just wish they're still there and not reserved when I get there. Will go on Thursday just to check out what's available.

Kasama na kaya yung War of the Worlds(2 disc), Stealth (2 disc) & Madagascar?

Nung last Podium kasi kasama na yung Hitch, Closer, etc. which were considered new releases na at that time. They were going for 333 each.

Kahit siguro mag 475 na yun War of the Worlds & Madagascar, ok na.

that's right, sir! 999 lang yung jack ryan set during the last sale, pero walang indication sa box na may DTS track, i asked the sales persons, sabi nila wala raw... unlike yung individual discs, you could choose the DVD with the DTS track... so I opted for the individual discs...

just been to Podium and got myself the Jack Ryan series seperately (each @ 375) ang boxed set hindi DTS although same price with the ones sold seperately. They also have a couple of Ice Age Extreme Cool Edition @ 299. Hindi kasama sa sale ang mga boxed sets as per the sales person. Sobra dami naka-sale, as per the Viva salesperson yung mga marked down hindi na baba ang price, baka daw yung mga nasa regular price and ilagay sa sale! Sana!

Sir there are two kinds of Jack Ryan box set, try getting the silver box, that one has DTS tracks

Just got back from astro, sabi nung salesperson, most of the PHP375 DVDs will be priced PHP333 then the rest mukhang hindi na isa-sale....

sana dagdagan nila ang nakasale I mean isama yung mga regular priced DVDs sa sale..... Sana kasama MADAGASCAR pero as per the sales person hindi rin daw kasama yun

I'm assuming these are the Magnavision titles currently on sale. What about the Viva titles? I'm hoping to get Kingdom of Heaven, Hitchhiker's Guide, and Mr. & Mrs. Smith eh.
