I was also thinking the same. the 2013 model Samsung plasma tvs will be available by April, according to SnS. I'm looking forward to the 51F5500. :)

Medyo mahal yung 60ST50. Pwede ka bumili ng 6 na 50x50 sa price niya. While 50X50 is the lower model, ganda nung value for money niya.

ang mahal sa SM Appliance! yung 51E550, 49k sa Sights & Sounds. (no freebies) yun lang, nasa Manila ang SnS.  ::)

Actually yung 51E550 ang hinahanap ko sir. Kaya lang out of stock na daw. Phased out na kasi. Yung 51F4900 na ang featured display nila at wala nang ibang E series models. Bagong dating daw ang unit. Di pa nga raw sila nabi-brief sa features ng TV. Yung successor sana ng 51E550 ang gusto ko. Wala pa daw ibang stock ng F series. Kaya lang parang out of budget na ako para dun. 48,900 na yung 51F4900 eh.

i just saw the latest Samsung Plasma top of the line model PN64F8500, and its super nice. i didnt get  to compare it side by side sa VT30 but i get the impression na the VT30 still has a blacker black, but the Sammy has all the belss and whistles.

also the design of the TV is very elegant. ampanger kasi ng bezel ng VT30.

I am yet to see a VT50 or VT60.

Price wise, the 64" Samsung has a tag price of 4.4k AUD while the 65" VT30 (very old model) sells for 3.4k
